Just found a new favorite DD soup It's Progresso Light Chicken Noodle-1 serving (1 cup) is 70 calories. It has a really good flavor, not bland at all. It's also very filling with big noodles and chunks of veggies.

I made this soup today, and it was delicious! Low carb, and 83 calories/5 carbs a cup. I ate a cup for lunch, will have a cup for dinner, and saving the rest for my Monday DD. I used thick it up instead of corn starch since I'm low carb.

It's from an online nutrition tracker site, but I'm not sure if we can post links there so here's the full recipe:

1 tbsp corn starch
1 tbsp soy sauce
3 large eggs, lightly beaten
1/4 tsp white pepper
4 cups chicken stock
1/2 tsp ginger, grated
3/4 cup pieces baby bella mushrooms
3 stalks green onion, chopped
Directions

Reserve 1/2 cup of the stock and mix with the cornstarch until dissolved.
Place the chicken stock, ginger, soy sauce, green onions, mushrooms and white pepper in a pot and bring to a boil.
Add the cornstarch and stock mixture and stir. Reduce heat to a simmer.
Slowly pour in the beaten eggs while stirring the soup. The egg will spread out into ribbons.
Turn off the heat and garnish with a few more chopped green onions.
Serve immediately.
Note: based on a recipe from Garrett McCord of Vanilla Garlic.

Got DD planned well for tomorrow, I think. Instant oatmeal (blueberry) (120), orange (65), boiled egg (70), 5 oz can of chicken breast (113), and 2 servings of Italian meatball soup (160), for just over 500 (528).

I really believe that will be a better day for me, than most so far. Here's hoping! I will probably throw in a pickle spear as well, with the chicken and boiled egg for my lunch.

The progresso Santa Fe Chicken is good, too. 60 calories per serving I think.

I'm just new here, but something low calorie I've enjoyed is a serving of cooked broccoli (about 5 oz) with a sprinkle of balsamic vinegar over it. Delicious and only around 50 calories (I think)!

Found a new favorite DD treat-fudge pops (in the ice cream section) They're the store brand kind, but it looked like there were name brand options too-sugar free and 40 calories each. A great treat when I'm craving something sweet

Hi everyone! Just wanted to share what has become one of my favorite DD meals. Lettuce is really low cal/low carb but I was having trouble finding a dressing that was also low cal and low carb that I actually liked. I decided to try salsa a few days ago and WOW!!! It is only 5 calories per tbsp. and I usually use about 3 tbsp. for 3 cups of lettuce. So that is 45 calories for the lettuce and salsa and I usually eat it 2-3 times per day and it is filling and delicious! I use Great Value Hot salsa because I love spicy food, but I'm sure the milder ones would be delicious too!

I do that sometimes too Chantal. It's great. If I feel I need a little extra protein, or a creaminess, I'll add a bit of cottage cheese too.

Bolthouse Farms makes some really good yogurt-based dressings. I get their Salsa Ranch dressing. It's 45 calories for 2 Tablespoons, and I usually use just one tablespoon for 23 calories. It's also great to dip veggies in.

deedee, that soup sounds great!

i just found Corn Thins at our local grocery yesterday - they are about half the thickness of regular Rice Cakes, but only about 20 cals and 3.5 net carbs each. A nice little snack with 1 T. sugar free jam for about 30 cals total! (I'm not big on empty corn OR rice, but this is such a wee bit I find it acceptable=).

Found a new item today that is so low in calories that I wanted everyone to know about it. Philly Swirl Sweet Delites fruit bars (frozen). Flavors are Raspberry/Vanilla, Orange/Vanilla and Cherry/Vanilla. It's not particularly low in carbs, at 4 carbs each, but great for DD's at only 14 calories.

I have only eaten one and it was not very good, to me. For one thing it was freezer burnt. I guess most people don't buy ice cream that is 14 calories, LOL.

Oh, I love them. I've never had a freezer burnt ones. I like all 3 flavors, but I usually feel full after 2 which is a mere 28 calories. I even have them on UD sometimes because these qualify to be in freezer at all times since even if I ate the whole box in my sleep it would be less than 150 calories!

Aldi's have them for only 1.99 for a box of ten and they are good. I believe 3 carbs if you count the fiber and 14 cals. They are called Fit & Active 14 Calorie Bars. Sugar Free, Fat Free, Gluten Free. I just polished off the orange and vanilla bar and it was delish!

Went to the grocery store tonight and bought everything but the Philly swirl bars. I bought ice cream for my kids and everything, guess when your not hungry grocery shopping, you forget to get yummies for yourself!

I've been a little too cold to enjoy them recently, but they are good. I can't believe they are only 14 calories! 2 of them really fills me up and I have only spent 28 calories- sometimes it's a great bedtime snack if I'm not freezing.
