I love fried radish. I usually fry them with bacon, but I was trying to do a low calorie meal.

I usually cut them into halves or fourths, and fry them in some cooked bacon. This time I just added some I Can't Believe It's not Butter Light to the pan.

I have had this for a DD the last few in a row.

60grams refried beans 45cals
Joseph's Heart Friendly Pita 60cals
Romaine a few cals I don't count...
I put cheese on this one, but I found for the cals it really wasn't worth it.

I spread the beans on the pita and put it in my pizza oven. This one I ate like a taco, crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle!!

Yesterday I cut it like a pizza when it came out, no lettuce and instead put about 2 T of salsa on it.

The fiber in the pita helps me feel fuller, and the beans help it last. I will make a pizza on these Pita's soon, as I have very quickly fell in LOVE with them!!

Turkey, Pita, Red Onions, and Mustard is another fav, also in the Pizza oven, like a hot toasty sub, then add lettuce!!

I have the Nature's Way sandwich flat bread that is 100 calories for two slices. One half would make a good open-faced sandwich or "pizza" too.

That looks really good .Where do you buy the pitas? All we have here is a Super WalMart and Hyvee or ALdi's stores.

Also I can't seem to see any beans on there? I was thinking some lean beef and salsa would be good. But that might be to many calories ??

I get the pitas at walmart. There is about 1/4 cup of beans. Very filling, and the flavor is there for sure. You could add more for more cals. Salsa is pretty low however, I added some to my other ones.

Here is a chocolate frosty that I tried today it is delicious only about 70 calories.

1 c Hood Carb Countdown 2% Dairy Beverage
6-7 ice cubes
2TBS sf ff chocolate pudding mix
1 tsp van extract
1 tsp of unsweetend cocoa
1/2 tbs sweetner of choice
2 Tbs whipped topping(optional more cal for the topping)

Mix all in blender or ice crusher.I used my Ninja smoothie maker and added 1 TBS thickner (THICK NOT THIN) they don't sell it any longer on Netrition(this was some I alread had) but any thickner would work.

I feel as if I had a full course meal!!

The pizza looks delightful. The quantities for these ingredients are missing - is it roughly a teaspoon of each one, please?

Thank you for letting me know - I plan to make this over the weekend as there's been a request for pizza from the non-dieters and it will be so hard to ignore the smell of the dough etc. if there isn't something similar for myself and DH (who is also JUDDDing).

Easiest breakfast ever! 1/4 cup oats, 1 egg, 1 tsp brown sugar, handful (20) blueberries, splash of milk, dash cinnamon. Mix it all up. Stick in coffee mug in microwave for 2 minutes.

Question on this. I would love to try something new for breakfast. I am not a huge fan of oatmeal. I have never read to add an egg to it. Does that make it less soupy? More solid? I dislike oatmeal most because of the consistancy. I would love something different to try!

Personally, this recipe totally didn't work for me. It was a mess, and definitely oatmeal texture. Cream of wheat would be a good sub if you really wanted to try it, or better yet farina (unsweetened cream of wheat) that you add sweetener to and save calories.

Thinking of breakfast.... hmmmmm!

Here's a quick breakfast muffin you cook in the microwave. Muffin is only 102 calories, but 10 grams of protein. The sugar free pancake syrup and blueberries I added to the finished muffin are not included in the calorie count.

Tweaked from Ginny's Low Carb Kitchen (2 minute donut recipe)
2 Tablespoons of canned parmesan cheese (40 calories)
1 Tablespoon of almond flour (40 calories) Can sub other flours
1 large egg white (16 calories)
1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg (6 calories)
1/4 teaspoon of baking powder (0 calories)
2 packets of sweetener (0 calories)
2 Tablespoons of sugar free syrup (0 calories)

Mix well and pour into a microwave safe mug (sprayed with pan spray). Microwave 1 to 2 minutes (depending on your microwave). I cooked mine 1.5 minutes. Invert onto plate and add sugar free pancake syrup and fruit.

100 grams yellow squash "noodles" 32
1 1/2 tsp. shredded parmesan 10

82 calories

Here is what I had for lunch on DD. It's a cup of spaghetti squash with 1/4 cup of crumbled turkey sausage and topped with 1/4 cup of alfredo sauce. Nutritional values; 210 calories and 9 carbs. It also has a low glycymic load.

I found some light Alfredo sauce to try, from Bertolli, 50 cals per 1/4 cup. Hope it is yummy, will have to report back later in the week. What kind of turkey sausage is yummy and low cal?

Also any ideas on the easiest way to cook spaghetti squash?? Thanks!!
