By the way.... DD #4 and as of yesterday (I am only weighing the morning of a UD) I have lost 6lbs since the end of December! This has been the easiest DD yet.

Yes Cindy & LCG, they do get easier!
I find that keeping myself busy really helps keep my hunger away.
As soon as I sit down on the couch it seems to trigger my hunger, so for the time being I am avoiding the television (unless on the treadmill) and I am orgainizing different areas of my house!
Hopefully by the time I reach my goal my house will be in Better Homes & Gardens LOL!

HM, I too noticed that if I kept busy on DD's, the hunger was kept at bay. I did a lot of cleaning in the first few weeks!! Unfortunately (for my house), but fortunately for me, I don't have to work as hard to avoid hunger (most DD's). Good job on your losses!

~Sara~ I've gone from size 14 jeans, down to a size 4 with JUDDD/5:2IF! Now in maintenance with 16:8IF and the occasional potato hack. My 3 year maintenance anniversary is in April

October 2015 Blood Work Results
-Total Cholesterol 167: HDL 69 LDL 97
-Cholesterol/HDL Ratio 2.4
no triglycerides number given this time, but blood work this past spring put them at a 49
-Glucose (non-fasting) 87

Yes, my house is getting so clean, all good things must end though! Hopefully not my woe, but my BD (baby daddy Lol) came home and said this is the best diet I have ever been on, less dirty dishes (due to less cooking on DD's) and the house is looking great!

So excited! Woke up this morning (after completing my 390 DD yesterday) to a 2.5lb weight loss! I am amazed at how fast the weight is dropping and how much energy I have!
I can see why everyone looks forward to DDs. I also look forward to UDs because I can still eat all the foods I love and do not feel restricted for a long period of time.

JUDD newbie

Hi all! Today is my first day on JUDDD.I have hypothyroidism and am struggling with weight loss. I have learned so much here while researching this weekend. Today was my first DD and it went well. I have to say I'm a little nervous but up for the challenge.

Energygal! Feeling nervous about this WOE in the beginning is so normal. I was terrified I couldn't do it, and only committed myself to trying it for a couple of weeks. A little over 4 months later, and 35 pounds lost, and I haven't looked back. You'll love it!

Hello! Tomorrow is my first DD! I have been low carb, but I want the health benefits and more weight loss... I have been having fun reading posts and looking up recipes. I am so lucky to have a Korean store nearby that sells Shirataki noddles for cheap, they will be my go to meals for DD's.

It's a DD for me today and I went to workout with my trainer this morning. I was a little nervous about training on a DD, but honestly I had more energy than I have had in a long time. I still do not feel hungry or weak. It may have to do with my 2200 cal UD, but glad I did it. I am now trying to do 4-5 workouts a week, 3 intense on my UDs and 2 walking on my DDs. My Goal is to be at 159 by Feb 11th. Only 2.5 lbs a week, definitely do-able.

Hello all

today is my first dau doing JUDD. am excited to be trying this new way of eating. Really excited when I learned it really helps make you healthier. I am excited to lose weight and get healthy! I have already gotten some great ideas for DD. I was just going to have plain tuna for dinner, but adding a little wedge of laughing cow, dividing it on 4 romaine leafs, then putting the tuna on made for a much more substansual meal. I am a girl who needs volumn! Look forward to stalking you all on the boards and getting lots of great ideas!

Thanks for the nice welcome! I have a question, I did my first UD today and I'm wondering what time do you start eating on UDs? I felt like I had to eat first thing... My first DD wasn't bad at all! I ate 400 cals and stopped eating at 6:30pm.

My tuna pouch was 80 cal., LC cheese 35, roamin 5 for a total of. 120 cal.

It was pretty good with the cheese on it!
