Hi ladies! Sorry been MIA. I wasn't feel well this week at all. Very nauseous and dizzy but I'm much better. Down 32.5 lbs since Jan 12th. It's been amazing. I'm going into metabolic adjustment for a couple weeks then another 10-week rapid weight loss phase.

Happy B-Day Dawn and congrats to the losers. Actually cheers to everyone sticking with it no matter what. It's not easy to do what we do!

Blessings everyone! I probably won't check in for a couple days but I'm thinking of you all!

Kat

Happy birthday, Dawn!! And congrats on your semi-finalist place - thoroughly deserved!

Keep going Rachel, Betty Kat! You're all doing so well!

I went for a 5 mile hike this morning, which was tough as I'm just so thirsty at the moment. Pleased I did it though!

Had my first weigh-in this afternoon - 4lbs, which if I'm honest I'm really disappointed with for the first week, especially as I stuck to the plan to the letter. Was really hoping for a big loss to take a sizeable chunk out of what I need to lose. Still, I guess it's better than nothing, and they said I might see a good loss next week. 64lbs to go...

that is a good loss Bridesmaid, don't get hung up in the numbers, only that you are going down! You can do it!

R u feeling better Kat and Rachel?

Only a half day today at school!!

I am exhausted from all my emotions from yesterday, while I was driving home yesterday, for the first time in a very long time, I felt I truly had my self and my life back!

Keep going, it takes time and give yourself this to get there.

Thank you Kat & Dawn. My scales showed another pound off today, which actually takes me below the hideous 200 mark for my morning weight, so feeling very happy about that!

Had the most delicious egg white, mushroom & spinach omelet filled with cottage cheese for breakfast - so good to have veggies again!!

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Congrats on your weight loss. There's a lot going on so I missed checking out the site later in the day. Just don't weigh yourself too much at home. Kind of wait until you get to the clinic. But keep it up and you will get there.

Yes, I know it's not supposed to be the right thing to do, but I have always weighed myself every morning and it's a hard habit to break. I used to weigh myself every evening too, so I'm doing much better!!

Have a great weekend! I'm in training all weekend, so that should help keep me on the straight and narrow.

No weight gain from birthday yesterday! Keep it going!

Hey all, just checking in after getting back from a long weekend of training. Hope everyone is doing OK. I have to say I'm really appreciating the introduction of some healthy fat and fruit/veggies this week - I have so much more energy already!

Great job not gaining on your birthday, Dawn!

congratulations Dawn, you'll have to tell us when to start voting!

Good job on the loss Bridesmaid, remember that any loss is good! I also weigh every morning and usually every evening too, I always have, but don't rely on those numbers and know how they tend to fluctuate for me. I can usually guess my morning weight based on my evening weight.

I have been sick again. Dawn, you are a school nurse, so I'm sure you see hand foot and mouth regularly. Should it be "flaring up" like this? My symptoms started in mid-January, my hands have not healed and my mouth sores come and go. it seems like I get 2-4 good days each week, and the rest of the time I am in a fog of sickness! This weekend was so bad I couldn't even eat anything besides freeze pops, and even the sugar in those hurt my mouth! I am so over it, and why is nobody else in the house sick?????

okay, feeling better today at least, so back on the program...

YOU have to drink fluids, do poweaid zero, do water, do anything that is sugar free to keep hydrated, this is essential. Rachel and I are doing week 1 over for 2 weeks. Remember you can do a shake a day, a bar a day but NOT both. My plan is shakes for lunch all week. But this is how I did it, once my food container was empty, I was done and stuck to it, sometimes I had everything gone sooner but it worked for me and then you can always have a bit more but try sticking in the guidelines. I would even make my stuff in advance and I didn't have to hassel with no time excuse. This is easy to do, be positive and remember, when you cheat, you just hurt yourself, no one else.

Did you say you did 500 for 4 months straight????

hi Rachel===yes I am a school nurse, we see hand, foot mouth quite a bit, it lingers on and off for some kids, viral, can be passed in stools, really important to be extremely diligent with hand washing and more hand washing! I am surprised no one else is ill! Glad you are feeling better!

yeah===around those give or take a calorie here or there! I never cheated, read all my post, in 9 months I had like 3 cookies, 1 banana split and pizza 2x's, I would get frustrated with that aspect since you can't stay in ketosis if you do. I eat a lot more now but I am technically in wellness.

loss 80 lbs in 8 months

Yes reading all the posts in here now!!!! Wish I would have stuck to it when I first started, but I had too much going on!!!

We'll I'm sick and tired of being tired, overweight and miserable with myself. I've let myself go and I need to get me back again!!!!!

So I'm starting this journey tomorrow and need all the support I can get!!!
