still surviving, 2 lbs from goal! today I ate more just because I wanted too, but I can since I am not considered acute. If I got more on track I could be on my 3rd goal next week. This will be my last goal, I need to be realistic on what I can maintain for my weight long term, I have 125 days till surgery and that will lop off 10-12 lbs off me, then I will have to go to one of the plastic surgeon forums and post some unsightly pics, I can't believe what people put on there! I don't like cooking! I just made those pancakes again and loved them, that is the extent of my cooking, although, when I get off there, I am making the banana nut muffins and pumpkin muffins for work tomorrow. Keep going, you can do this, and remember, you are the only one in the way of your success!

I made a big treat for work, pumpkin muffins and banana nut muffins, if you haven't made them, they are good but addicting! I have decided I am going to really clamp down and see if I can do this next week! Thanks Kat! Hope everyone is hanging in there, when I started in June there were more of us on here, not too many of us checking in any longer.

Those muffins sound really good! I've gotta buckle down for a while until I get past these weekends where I gain weight. Any advice/tips for the weekend as far as weight loss goes? I shouldn't be gaining 2 lbs every weekend. I think kicking the exercise up a notch on the weekends may help. Hope everyone is a "loser" today!

Blessings everyone! Kat

Hi All! Weigh in was this morning, down 3.2 (over two weeks) ....all fat, yay!!!

Rachel - you are so right, we can get through the holidays, special events, and eating out, we have been doing this for the past few months and there is no reason we can't do it once we get to goal and are moving forward.

Dawn - some days we just feel like eating a little more, just so long as we don't feel like that every day. You have done so good and just think how great you will feel after the surgery.

Courtney & Kat - How are you doing?

Txgirl - Welcome! Funny, it was a friend from TX that told me about medi.

4lbs away from 40. Friends are telling me I am at a good weight but I can keep going!
That's great Courtney! I've also had a couple of friends/family members tell me I shouldn't lose anymore. I have told them I am focused on a healthy BMI number and not my weight. I Still need to go down a couple of points to be considered at a healthy BMI, so that means a few more pounds which will get me to my goal. Hang in there! WE HAVE ALL COME SO FAR!!!

I brought the pumpkin desserts and banana nut muffin to work, I don't think many people liked them! I did eat too many of them myself but I do like the pumpkin pies in the muffin pan.

Where is everyone?

Here I am!
Kat - why are you gaining over the weekend? Are you eating more, eating things that are not on the program? I allow myself to have Wednesday as my day to eat more or if I'm going to, eat something off plan. it keeps it from turning into a weekend-long thing.

Dawn - I haven't made the muffins. I did make the crustless pumpkin pies several times and couldn't stop eating them! Same with any cheesecake recipes.

Great loss KRene!

I think this week I am going to repeat my journals exactly from week 1. I would like to buckle down and lose as much as I can before my prepaid visits are up, because I will probably stop doing acute at that point. I weigh-in tomorrow, hoping to see a loss, any loss!

Hi Rachel - I ate off plan two weekends ago for the wedding. Mostly drank a lot - had a couple bites of salad w/a couple bites of the meat. No cake at all. I started my "cycle" Saturday morning and that brings me to my weigh in yesterday being up 3 lbs. I lost 2 of that with today's weigh in. I have shots everyday M-F (boosters, lipotropic and another one) so it may have something to do with that? I think this weekend will be the test..

KRene - WOO HOO!!!!!!!!

Dawn - pumpkin pie in muffin pan sounds delish! Where can I find that recipe?

Keep up the great work!!

Blessings! Kat

the pumpkin pie recipe is on Medi, let me know if you can't find it , I think mini crustless? anyways----I made a double batch for work and I don't think people loved them like I do. I ate way too many!!!!! Don't ask how many I ate along with the banana nut muffins. I could be at my goal next week if I really buckle down too Rachel====All I can say is follow the program Kat, journal it and be on track, you will lose.

Keep going!

Kat - I often find that when I am about to/just did start my cycle, I don't lose much, but make up for it the next week. Like Dawn said, just stick to it. The weekends tend to be easier for me because my husband is home and I'm strictly working from home instead of on the road like I am during the other days of the week.

Down 1.5 for the week. 10 to go! Hoping I will get over this cold so I can exercise (or at least walk without gasping for air)! We've all been hit with it, my littlest guy has pneumonia from it, my middle girl has an ear infection. Don't even get me started on the issues with CYS lately! I'll just say that it is nice to have two fewer children in the house, but it was a nightmare to let them go back when I feel the situation isn't any better.

I have my journal in my bag to review today while I wait for clients, buses, etc. I want to make sure I'm prepared to repeat my week 1. If I don't get all 10 lbs off in the next 3 weeks, I'd at least like to take off 5 and maybe lose the rest gradually while in transition/wellness.

Keep it up everyone!

Awesome Courtney! You and I are really on the same track! I haven't done Nutrisystem, but it wouldn't work for my household. I have to prepare food for too many people, need a plan that allows me to cook a family-friendly meal daily, that's the only thing that would be sustainable for me.

There is a giveaway on the Medi Facebook page. I just shared my transformation story. Chances to win money or a vacation and the cover of the magazine!

yeah I saw that! more bullying for my son, a peer hacked his school email account and sent disgusting emails to a girl. that makes me stressed! Otherwise, trying to stay on track, just can't seem to budge 2lbs!

Dawn - sorry your son is going through that. I pray these things will only serve to make him stronger.

Keep up the awesome job!!! You can do the final 2!

thanks Kat! another extremely stressful day, it is even more complicated I work for the school district where this occurred. Well they found video evidence after I had to prove my son did not do this, this is one time I am thankful he has a base phone and cannot email, he was on the bus when the email was typed. His school email was hacked by a peer, thought it would be funny and wanted to play a joke on him. I had to get him into emergency counseling, dealing with a lot of crap. I declined pressing charges since this was not the usual kids doing this do him. Having a son with autism is difficult and you can't do anything to change it. I have to say, I was so stressed I went to the breakroom and ate a bite of a homemade cupcake, 1 bite and threw it out after that. Just a frustrating time and since I am an emotional eater, this easily derails me, but, 1 bite, in the past, it would of been 5 cupcakes, so happy I did that. Enough of my rant, better today tomorrow and keep going.

Happy Sunday! I started drinking diet soda past few weeks and up 2 lbs, I did not drink any diet soda for a day now and it is off, I do think for sure, diet soda makes me fat/gain weight. Trying to do week 1 today and this week to get last 2 lbs off! I know tomorrow I will not have a loss, first time in 8 months, hoping to stay the same at weigh in. Hope everyone is doing well, not too many of us on here any longer.
