I was thinking of makemeslim and I hope you are enjoying your reading as well as feeling better .

I have severe hip pain today My oldest brother who is 70 had hip replacement surgery. I am going to see if adding tumeric to my scrambled eggs will help ease the pain on the hips and my lower back . Worth a try I say

Mim enjoy your salads. I am making a spicy Guacamole today on a bed of lettuce .

Google food combining, I find it very helpful you may also.

As for anti inflammatory nuts like pecans and walnuts to name a few are very good if you don't over eat them like I do

(TOM) I'm taking it easy . I'm tired I have a few errands to do today and the weekend .

Oh , not eating too late so you can digest before you retire for the evening . About 4 hours before lights out .

Happy Friday !
I'll google it. My Whole30 book arrived today but I'm sooo tired, I'm not sure I'll get any reading done tonight. It 7.40pm and I could happily turn in now. I've a hospital appointment tomorrow at a hospital that's not that close to home so I'll need to be up and ready early as its an early appointment.

Yes I know about Tumeric being good for you, I use it a fair bit. Can never remember why these things are good, just know they are. So it has anti inflammatory properties, thanks for reminding me. Sure there's something else about it... When I have the energy I'll research it further.

Oh so sorry to hear about your hip pain. Hope the Tumeric helps. As I said I use it frequently, usually... Though not for a couple of weeks so maybe I need to start up again. I've not been reading. Friend of mine told me about a guy named Ty Bolliger and I've been listening to him on YouTube. Although he talks about cancer and diet there is some seriously good info in his videos. Lots of professionals and scientists explaining things. As we now know inflammation is kinda like a precursor of cancer so there is a lot of talks on which foods are good etc. It's so much more than that I urge you all to give him a go, if you do, start with part 1. I'm gonna have a listen to some more now then I'll probably have an early night. Zzzzzz

Mim , are you ready for your date tomorrow?!!

Mim, you have a date. Don't be nervous! You got this.

I can't even remember the last time I had a date...but I just got out of a LTR and he stopped doing the date night thing years ago. I'll be very nervous whenever I actually get back into the dating scene. Lol.

Last night one glass of wine with dinner and I felt tipsy ! I started singing the O'Jays.. Love Train .. I was with family and that was a good thing for me for them not so sure I am sharing this tmi with you all because I wonder if my lack of wine tolerance is either because of age or my diet .. if you had this experience do tell ..

On plan and will try not to weigh until Friday easy said so I will emphasis " TRY "

I hope everyone is having a lovely day enjoying what they love .. I am reading about the Whole30 diet thank you both mim & makemeslim.

Happy Monday !

Hi Kerry. It is hard to get started - you are not alone. Maybe you can ease in to it by eating a bit of salad, or lc veggies like green beans. You will still lose weight doing it this way.

So glad you had fun going out Mim.

I'm going grocery shopping this weekend to do some of the stillman approved recipes. Trying for a week then will continue or try another quick fad depending on the loss.if I lose more than 2 pounds ill hold out hope and continue with stillmans
