Katie- good to know on the cottage cheese! It's so good , too good maybe.....

So does anyone else uses ground beef on QWL? I made the patties for lunch and I think it may not be lean enough, I drained a lot of fat out of the pan and they were juicy and delicious which made me think it was too good to be true lol! I ate 2 which I also think isn't right , right? You are only supposed to eat to stave off hunger I think. Other than that today is going good, I had the 2 eggs, -1/2 cup cottage cheese and 2 patties, I also made chicken breast but haven't had any yet. Idk if I should just stop with what I already ate today or go ahead and eat some chicken later.
If you are hungry, eat. I think the idea is not to gorge but I've always found it difficult to gorge on protein. when I got to goal in the past doing Stillmans I never worried about how much I ate. Well, I did worry but only if it was too little, I like to keep the calories up on the days I had no appetite.

So I didn't get around to making meatballs but I think I will today. I'll use turkey mince mixed with extra lean beef mice. I have turkey breast mince which is yuk! The supermarket was clean out of extra lean thigh. The extra lean beef should compensate and make the meatballs less dry. Or maybe I'll do the lasagne which I've made before? Not sure...

As long as you dilute the lemon in your water it's fine . I have been drinking lemon water for years

It's also important to try different brands BC if they are cut too thick they can taste squidgy in my opinion. I really like the rice but I've also found a spaghetti which is good. It's not like the real thing but close enough when your desperate. Oh and they swell up quite a bit once eaten so they are filling too. I drowned the rice in the sweet and sour sauce I made and it was pretty good. They do need something with flavour though BC they don't really taste of much.
I think I have seen them in the health food section at the market ,packed in a bag with liquid ?

I modified the recipe . I could not find diet orange soda Instead I bought a tangelo some fresh ginger and a Vidalia onion . I zest ed some of the tangelo then cut it into triangles and squeezed some of the juice over the prawns to marinate along with the cut up pieces of tangelo. It marinated for awhile , I then cut my Vidalia onion into chunks , peeled and sliced the fresh ginger, then I coated a stir fry pan with non stick coconut oil spray and I added the onions and ginger , I then removed the prawns from the marinade discarded it and added them to the pan with the zest and orange slices . When done I added some fresh chopped chives and sesame seeds . I didn't eat the onions or ginger it tasted fine not sweet or sour more fragrant from the tangelo. Then again I didn't have all the required ingredients .

Day 1: 179.4
Day 2: 175.6

Day 1 went well, on to day 2! Makemeslim, thanks I will just eat when I'm hungry. Today I had 3 eggs and black coffee, then I still have 2 patties left and half a chicken breast so I'm just going to eat all that plus some cottage cheese and then not have to cook at all.

Congrats on the 3 lb joy bird!

Happy Tuesday !

Today's menu is steak ala makemeslim!

Eating one low carb meal a day is definitely helping me not blow my diet and go into a carb frenzie

Once I feel ready, I am going strict QWL . Whatever helps to keep me away from sugar, wine , breads and breaking promises to myself . This transition period is going well so far, I can't wait till I weigh myself on Saturday .

Never heard of Tangelo. If it's jello, I was actually wondering on the day I made it whether adding SF orange jelly might be a good thing... Maybe make the sauce thicker? I only had strawberry in, so that wasn't gonna work. The one I made was sweet and the vinegar gave it that kick.

0% Greek yoghurt mixed with strawberry SF jello in place of the cottage cheese. (That's only of course if you don't mind adapting the plan and are not super strict). I tend to eat any left overs from dinner, it doesn't really bother me what time of day it is. Unless it's a meal heavy in garlic and I need to be somewhere important. Deli meat roll ups of some sort with mustard maybe?

The tangelo makemeslim is a kind of orange . Although I agree sugar free orange flavour jello would work mixed in it

I didn't stay yesterday as planned. But I did start today! My fiancé is out of town this weekend so that should be good to keep me on track for the first weeks on plan so I can get myself in the groove!

We booked a vacation in December so I would like to lose 15-20 lbs by then so I can hopefully fit in my old cut bathing suits! If not I have one cute one in my current size!

Yep boy do I know that one glass of wine Katie that I had also put me in craving mode.

Speaking of cookies my son brought home warmed cookie ice cream sandwiches from Duncan Donuts

Yep alcohol and dieting are nemesis!

]Stillman's
Day 1: 179.4
Day 2: 175.6
Day 3: 173

I'm going on day 3 and I'm ok, already bored with the food a bit but I think that's the point. I going to get a little creative later on today though.. I'll let you guys know how it goes! I'm still feeling fatigued but I just started back on my med yesterday so hopefully I'll start to feel better. Otherwise I'm also feeling a lot leaner, my stomach is looking a lot flatter ,which is nice!

Ok just made QWL stillman deviled eggs that were pretty decent!
2 eggs
1 tbsp cottage cheese
Squirt of mustard
Salt + pepper + paprika
Mix yolks, cottage cheese , mustard salt and pepper. Put back into white and spinkle with paprika.
