Happy Friday !
Last minute to do around the house, and then I am all set for company this weekend .

I was 146lbs. Close to goal but that won't last , at least I have wiggle room .

Today is cookies and cranapple sparkle drinks ( mimosa style) when they arrive this afternoon .

Hi everyone! Love the talk of the positive body image, kal! I need to be more like that. I do have things I like about my body...I just tend to get real critical about those problem areas instead of focusing on the good. Tat sounds very lovely, Mim. I have four tats. Haven't had one since I was 25... if I ever got another it would be a liturgical fish with my sobriety date inside. I kept teasing DH that I was going to do that while we were in SD at the end of August (preferably at a shop in Sturgis) but I wimped out. I was considering the top of my foot, but I've gotten skeezy of needles in my old age..lol. Maybe some day...

Hope you're enjoying your fun foods this weekend Mar.. sounds like a blast! And I love how you're not stressing about it! Still and Leanne, you ladies are doing so great too!

Oh, wait, I forgot to talk about food. So, today I am attempting a Stillman's DD. I haven't eaten yet, wish me luck.

Hello everyone! I've not checked in as lots going on... I'm moving in a couple of weeks so busy, busy, busy. I've been on plan the last 6 days and my jeans are loose. I can actually get them off without undoing them! Not sure how many pounds I'm down BC I've been avoiding the scale. Unsweetened almond milk has been a saviour... Been having lots of vanilla shakes.

I just started Stillman's on September 19! I have been very strict with no carbs since Monday, except for whatever comes and the whole egg. I'm excited about getting some weight off with the Stillman plan, and then keeping it off with smart eating habits.

Hey Slim when the jeans pull off its time to get new jeans! You are doing great! I have moved across the country many times and moving is not fun!

Mar enjoy it if it's worth it!

Mim I have a few tats but I'd like another. I just can't figure out what or where so I don't have one yet!

Kai great job and good advice.

Still hope your weekend is perfect. I love to have company it give me excuse to make everyone clean the house!

I'm still plugging away at about a pound a week or sometimes a little more.

A new week starts tomorrow and since I have a big eating day planned next Saturday night and Sunday I might hope back on the Stillman train for a few days.

Today I will contemplate. Do you think no calorie fiber would be allowed? Konjac noodles?

Hey Mim! How was Italy? I'm moving to a loft style apartment which is part of a converted house which happens to be on the same street I live in now! There is still lots to do as my daughter will be moving into my house. I'm excited about the change and looking forward to choosing new colours and things.. It has really cool slanted ceilings and a roof garden. Hope I'm settled for Xmas! These things take time!

I eat them sometimes and have no issues.

Yes about the jeans! I actually have the same pair a size smaller but I'm afraid to try them on!

I'm up a little (very little) normally would be a loss, and don't really know why but I'll deal with it. I've talked myself out of trying an egg fast and I'm not hyped to try Stillmans today. But I think I'll give it a go tomorrow and see how that works out for me. I don't mind the meats and low carb but I really miss fat. I don't want to lose a few just so I can binge them back on.

I'm so close, another 10 pounds and I'm in happy maintenance land.NOT( it's just as hard without the joys of dropping weight! But I can't wait to be back, it is worth it ) I need to just let it happen and quit screwing with things.

Hi everyone! Leanne I'm glad you said that about fiber (I think on the weigh-in thread) because I am pretty sure that's what happened to me yesterday.

Today I'm trying to do somewhat strict Stillmans... I've had a can of canned chicken, and 2 yogurts. I should probably cut those out, huh? 80 cal zero fat... do they stall people? Not really "legal?" I know some version allows FF greek yogurt but I'm not sure how much per day.

It's only 13 days til my trip, I'd really like to get closer to 120! Battling a headache right now and feeling sluggish. There are so many things around the house I need to be doing. Procrastination is my enemy!

Melissa. Wow you are doing so well. That seems like such a small amount of food. Yogurt doesn't seem to bother me but I only lose about a pound a week. I thought about going strict but easily talked myself out of it. But then again I have nothing special planned till Christmas. My mom and dad arrive around the middle of Dec. I will be back into all my skinny pants by then. She likes to take me shopping for Christmas and I won't go unless I'm at goal. So... I will be!

Ate lots probably gained lots too!
Haven't weighed myself yet, I should but everyone in the house is sick today including me .
As of late last night I started having a burning sore throat . It's even worse today.
I decided to make Greek orzo lemon chicken soup for the family it's a cold buster and tea with lemon and honey to drink.
I will be taking it easy these couple of days before I jump back on .

So I have my 5k this weekend. I'm excited. Still just eating on plan. Nothing major going on in life. Not really anything to report which is why I'm like super quiet haha. I have my yearly physical on Thursday. My weight will of course be a topic since he told me to maintain last time which I did while still trying to lose and stalling like crazy, but now he'll see my slight gain of like 6 pounds. Since I'm back on plan and not sick anymore. I might change Doctors at the end of the year. Idk. I feel like I need a doctor that's not okay with me when I'm borderline obese. Like where I wanted to continue to lose and he advised against it. I'd prefer one that gently nudges and is supportive and helps me be the best I can be....but if i guess that's why people have personal trainers.

I am the same way Mim my dr is very very overweight and the only thing he said was you're obese and should exercise. I wanted to ask how's that working for you!? It's not just exercise to lose weight and I am sure he knows that.

I am still up 6 lbs today. I did good all day at work but then when i got home I started eating all the junk that was left from having ppl over on Saturday. I threw everything out and have my food cooked for the day so hopefully today will be an on plan day now that I got rid of all the tempting food.

I don't think I wil lose the 6 lbs by Friday but I hope to be down 2 and back in the 170s for October. Then my plan will be to lose 10 from there wherever I am October 1 not 10 from my lowest weight in September.

I just have to keep making myself little goals every week. This week my goals are to be on plan until Friday and get back into the 170s

Happy Tuesday !

Thank you Leanne ! I am going to restart today before I spiral out of control . I will start with rib eye then cook some chicken breasts .
Carbs make you wake up ravenous!
Plenty of Greek lemon chicken orzo soup left over for everyone but me !

My doctor she is a thin lady. I was examined by her and she told me that I need to get a fit bit or download my fitness pal app. Also to watch my carbs/starch/sugars . Eat smaller portions of the healthy ones. Walk each day at least 20 minutes . She doesn't believe in diet pills, so she told me it's all up to me to get 1. My blood pressure under control and 2. Reach a healthy bmi, she never said I was obese, that I found out on my own when I looked up my bmi.

I felt disgusted and how could I let myself get out of hand with food ?

Today is a new day a restart and I look forward to it and next time I eat too much cheese on stillmans I will realise and say hey you're doing fine, its low carb better than you were off plan !
