Oh, Lordy! I broke my 4.5 day water fast today with guacamole, Saga blue cheese (it's sooo soft and sharp), half a piece of Joseph's oat-fiber pita (60 cal, 4 carbs), a few olives, and for dessert: a cup* of fresh black raspberries from the garden with a Tble of cream. Fasting really does sharpen the taste buds!

*I've been watching the those raspberries ripen the last couple of days and wondering if the chipmunks and turkeys would leave any for me. They did--in spades. Quite a harvest! I took every last one.

Your meal sounds delish! I have not had Saga Blue Cheese, since I was a teenager, but I did love that. Now I might just need to get some soon.

DD - first in a good while...

Late lunch/early dinner will be a 3 egg omelette done in 15g butter with a little cheese on top. 478kcals

Lots of water and black coffee!

I think i'll stick to around about 500kcal for DDs for the first couple of weeks back on JUDDD then will see how I go from there as to whether I dip down to what the calculator shows (335 kcals).

FairyWren I want to do a DD today as well. First time in a looonnngg time. I haven't planned well at all though and am just going to try and abstain for the most part today, and eat dinner tonight. Maybe I'll get a side salad from McDonalds with FF dressing for lunch. Not eating any snacks this morning or anything until lunch will be difficult...

Good luck on your first DD in a long time! Sounds like you have a plan for today though, and hey, we have an UD to look forward to tomorrow

Know exactly what you mean about avoiding the snacks, though I have never really got back into eating breakfast, I almost never eat until lunchtime nowadays - not that that has stopped me from piling on the pounds

I don't really eat breakfast, but I start snacking on crackers about 9 am most days, and generally have anywhere from 300-400 calories before lunch if not more sometimes. All junk. Sometimes I eat healthy but my go-to "breakfast" is the vending machine at work.

DD - Yesterday I decided to change my schedule because of events happening that day and tomorrow. First DD in a very long time!

B-Coffee w/French Vanilla (reg) 100 cals (will need to get some FF creamer)

L-Salad with cucumber, lettuce and tomato, small amount of Italian (50 cals)

D- TBD, thinking about cabbage and lite summer sausage with onions and cooked in a little chicken broth; a piece of fruit for dessert

I like the SF creamers better than the FF ones. I think the SF and FF are about the same calories. I use the SF creamers in iced coffee, but powder creamer in hot coffee.

Yesterday went well. Today I've already had about 700 calories before lunch.

Carly, I don't like the powdered creamers in anything. I do like the SF creamer, and that's what I meant when I said FF.

Yeah, the SF ones are really good. Honestly, I'm not sure I've bought the non-SF kind, or if I did it was more than 10 years ago. I also don't recall ever having soda that wasn't diet. I think it's good to never have tasted the full sugar version, so I don't have anything to compare it to.

I have come to like the powdered creamer. DW only uses powdered and here at work we have Skim Milk, Whole Milk, Half and Half and powdered. I'd probably use SF creamer if we had it here, but now I like the powdered even over half and half.

Sounds good, Carly.

UD here. I've had some saltine crackers with LC, a peach and a cupcake. I have a frozen entree for lunch with a small salad. Tonight will probably be baked pork chops and summer squash with onions.

Haven't eated so far today, but my plan is:

1:30PM 1/2 ham sandwich, 5 potatoe chips, diet pepsi = 190 calories

7:00PM Same.

Day = 380 calories unless I choose to have a bit of wine (3 oz). In that case, end calories will be 515.

Hoping that a combination of LC, EOD, staying clear of cheese and alcohol will rid me of some persistent fungal skin issues... Time will tell... Hoping also that taking Apple Cider Vinegar (with the mother) and the coconut oil will help too. Oh yea, I gave up smoking 2 weeks ago too, that should help? (didn't smoke much, a pack or two a week).

I ended up making some grilled green and yellow squash and had about 5 ounces. I packed the rest up for DW.

Like your ideas. I'll give a try for the SmartOne Chicken Pot Pie next grocery stop. I bought a SmartOne dinner a few years ago and it was so bad I didn't even finish the dinner - tossed it. So hadn't tried another one since. I find diet soda keeps hunger at bay.

All my meals are usually the same for a few days since I eat left-overs and what I have left.

UD (Same as Tuesday)

Coffiee upon arising after weigh-in then during day here after.

Breakfast: Fried egg, 2 Toast with butter, Coffee
Lunch: yogurt (will skip regular lunch for strawberry shortcake coming up.
Snack: Strawberry Shortcake
Dinner: Spagetti with Salad
Later: Bit of Wine

Approximately 1500 calories

I don't really care for any other SmartOnes (Only tried ones that are 200 or less calories), but I like the Crustless Chicken Pot Pie. It's not gourmet, but I try to have zero food DDs, so if I determine I need something it's got to be quick and easy at 9pm when I decide that I won't be able to sleep, because I'm too hungry. I can keep a SmartOne or Green Giant Cauli in the freezer for a long time if I don't happen to need it for a while.
