Hey guys finally ready to start stillmans today! Sigh my plans to try to get off the extra weight I put on last week did not work! I'm up 7 lbs this month and I just need to get back down stat! I was really hoping to get back down to my plateau weight of 160-163 before I started stillmans and see if it could finally bust me into the 150's. But now the week will be spent re-losing old weight sigh, oh well nothing for it just need to start and hope it drops off quick.

Today i plan on having 2 hard boiled eggs, 2 4oz chicken breasts, 2 oz fat free deli ham, and 1/2 cup low fat plain yogurt........wait I just entered that all
In on my calories tracker and that's only 640 calories! Well we'll see if I get really hungry I'll eat more eggs or something. Skipping coffee today and having some English breakfast tea instead. Meh. I really need to find a fat free creamer , I'm open to suggestions!

It appears my social calendar is also full for all my weekend in march as well so I'm concerned how that will affect things. My initial plan is to do QWL 5 days a week and do LCHF 20 net carbs on weekends, I worry this might just make me lose on the weekdays and gain on weekends but I'll Just have to try it and see.
Hi vlo! So glad you hopped on the Stillman train. You will surely take off those few extra pounds off with the quickness. I look forward to hearing more of your story, and watching you shrink!

I would love to have that! Before I put one of those in though I need a bigger tub! Both of our tubs now don't cover both me knees and boobs at the same time so something is always cold!

Al mustard chicken sounds good! You got me into chipotle seasoning so I trust your taste and will try this too! I like to marinate my chicken on Caesar dressing but have been avoiding it this go round I wonder if I can find a dry mix of the seasonings so I can cut the fat and still have the flavour

Sorry I missed this post earlier today! You are in the right place! What you said about losing the same weight really got me thinking... I know I have been losing the same 10 lbs for the last year (or more ) you are doung the right thing by posting here and making yourself accountable.

Normally I don't tell people I am trying to do better because I don't want people to know when I fail or conversely feel accomplished because people think I am doing something I am not. But this last few weeks I have been telling people I am trying to eat healthy and so Now people know, they don't know I am on stills but they know I am trying to cut back on carbs. I am hoping it keeps me accountable this go round because I am really really tired of losing the same 10 lbs.

Welcome and let's do this together!

What type of soup do you make? I have yet to find a stills soup I like as it always feels like it's missing something...

It is the last day of February! I was not on plan for the whole month. Not even trying to be the first week plus! But I'm going to enjoy the last day of February by being on plan!

It funny, everytime I stick to QWL I have to find a new way to season my meat cause by the time I'm done with QWL, I can not ever eat that way again!!

So now hot sauce, yellow mustard, and chipotle are all scratched off my list!!

You could probably come up with a legal Caesar dressing concoction using cottage cheese, spices, and a little anchovy paste? I think it has worcheshire sauce in it too.. Not sure what's in that.

Ash Wednesday was always a Day 1 diet day for me, for as long as I can remember. Im glad I have a few extra days under my belt of being on plan. I remember being 9 or 10 and giving up ketchup. If I could get through that I can get through anything.

So right here, right now, I commit to QWL for 40 days.

The actual garden has both. It's a shared space though. The roof top is looking a bit like a concrete jungle at the moment as the last owners took most of the plants. Soon be time to start thinking about what else to plant up there. I'm looking forward to having breakfast on the roof in the mornings and late night dinners in the summer. Stillman friendly of course.

Day 5 (-2 lbs) the plan is the same, minus the mustard!

I took makeme's suggestion and set up the crock pot overnight, seasoning the chicken with just salt and pepper. This morning I shredded all the chicken, divided it into containers and added the broth back in. Tastes sooo much better than baked!!!

I don't think I can keep up with the mustard.. I was just about gagging last night. So I made it past the hard part. Today starts Day 5. I feel OK, I guess. Kinda annoyed that I have to go on diet again..

That made me laugh. My old place had a bath like that! I remember getting cold boobs! I can practically lay down in this one which isn't bad considering I'm 5ft 11. I stay in there for hours just rerunning the tap with my foot and watching youtube.

You could probably come up with a legal Caesar dressing concoction using cottage cheese, spices, and a little anchovy paste? I think it has worcheshire sauce in it too.. Not sure what's in that.
I'm in to Tobasco at the moment! I love Worcestshire sauce on cheese on toast! Think it might have a fair bit of sugar in it though, not sure? Nandos garlic sauce is reasonable though not the marinade that has more carbs.

So right here, right now, I commit to QWL for 40 days.
And we know you'll do it! Good on ya Al. Looking forward to seeing your numbers!! Not sure if I will add a little salad after the challenge is up? I'll see how I feel. I've been craving broccoli the last couple of days. Hmmm broccoli, would go lovely with my salmon tonight... Shame I can't have any.

Does anyone remember the Stillman meal plan cards that were posted on the boards some time back? I've been wanting to find them but don't know where to start looking?

I took makeme's suggestion and set up the crock pot overnight, seasoning the chicken with just salt and pepper. This morning I shredded all the chicken, divided it into containers and added the broth back in. Tastes sooo much better than baked!!!

I don't think I can keep up with the mustard.. I was just about gagging last night. So I made it past the hard part. Today starts Day 5. I feel OK, I guess. Kinda annoyed that I have to go on diet again..
Yeah it's so much better than baked!

Oh and Al, well done on getting to day 5!
I'm going to order some of that 0 carb tomato sauce. I know it's frankenfood but I use to enjoy a little with bacon (fat free of course) and eggs in the mornings.

I really fancy mint sauce right now... That will be my new go to for a while. I've not checked the pot yet but it's basically just vinegar and mint leaves so I guess it will be ok. If not I could make some... Lovely with lamb. Is lamb allowed on Stillmans, I can't remember...
