Saturday my totals were 40 minutes on recumbent bike and 4 minutes on the elliptical. My tendons are stretching nicely. I feel like I have to go slow with the elliptical - it's much harder than I remember or I'm much weaker. I'm sweating even at just 4 minutes!

The weather has been soooooooooooooooo humid lately. It rained all last night but today was just as damp. Yesterday, I only did 4 minutes on the elliptical, and today I did no formal exercise at all. Just pulled out a patch of spent annuals, once lovely pink blossoms that had re-seeded and turned into foot-tall bare brown stems. Also went shopping at a produce market - 30 minutes of walking & shopping. That's enough for this muggy day.

After posting yesterday, I felt the urge to get a little exercise so I did 20 minutes on my wonderful recumbent bike last night. Perhaps the humidity had dropped(?). I'm such a piker compared to you two, Puppy love & Enemysugar.

Today is a chore day plus I'm lunching out with a low-carbing friend. She started LC after me but is losing weight faster. She's very determined. We both plan to eat right and I bet we do. Weather permitting, I plan to do more time on the r-bike and a little elliptical time too.

Shoot Puppy, I missed it... I 'm so excited about Hitting goal, the weight is coming off so much slower now. That's ok though, I'll get there. I posted on the Main Board on God's Beloved Question about what we were going to do when we hit goal weight, My answer was Spa Day. I'm making my hubby treat me to it. Then He is making Dinner. I am worried about maintenance but I think a little worry is natural, kind of keeps you on your toes. Don't I remember you saying that you try to eat the same foods everyday. Do you find that it makes it easier to do that? Anyway I believe I'm ahead of the game by just exercising everyday. I'm so glad I started that early on. It has really helped me, in more ways than one. Thanks Puppy

Great job Enemysugar. I watch ur menu it is great. I eat a lot of the same things because I have cut out foods that cause inflammation which is a lot. It's amazing what daily exercise does and how being able to do a little more each day adds up its like losing weight. That's why people need to be more patient with both and focus on doing their best that day!

Glad to see you Happy! How do you like shift shop? Update: 2 more surgery center procedures Monday and Tuesday. Nerve study for my legs on the 7th. Waiting to be approved for a trail study. There is a new stimulator they put into your back connecting it to the nerves that control leg pain. I tried the stimulator that's out but that didn't work. The trail one is suppose to be for people who have extensive damage to lower back causing other stimulators/ procedures not to work. Doing elliptical again but unable to do an hour at a time like before so I break up the time but hey I'm doing it!

Yep I went with the boys, we had an amazing day. I enjoy the feeling I get from finishing a hike that I don't think I can do. Again I remember the Quote by Eleanor Roosevelt "You must do the things you think you cannot do" That's me...I let fear get in my way for so long, I have, almost a burning desire to do the things that I have feared. I'm afraid...but I push past it and keep going. I can't explain it but I just feel like I must do it.
