Hello! Life has taken a turn for the very busy. Today I have lunch at a parishioner's home, so I don't get choices. But dinner will be chicken soup! I will try to catch up and do personals soon. I promise!

I think that's also called Canadian bacon. So good! I forgot about it actually I am gonna buy some next grocery shop!

Hi Girlies! Just a quick check in from my phone so I'll be short and sweet. wanted to give a big welcome to cavegirl!!! Thank you so much for sharing your story. You have come to the right place for support and quick losses. Were looking forward to watching you shrink!

I am so not feeling well. It's been creeping up on me the last few days. Sigh. I'm still on plan but more than likely I'll be taking some kind of medicine tonight to help me sleep. It's that uncontrollable cough. the good news is I think I'm getting a six pack cause my tummy is so sore from hacking.

Make me, I remember the tuna packs! Im2 used to carry them in her purse. Lol. I ended up making a new batch of crockpot chicken, but maybe I'll be more adventurous in the coming days. BTW... i will stick around as long as it takes you. Xoxo

Stay strong everyone! We can do this no matter what obstacles are in our way!!

A- hope you feel better and yes good for you for staying g on track..

Make me- do you use low fat bacon?
Mar and mim-- stay focused! We can do it!!
How is cave girl?

I did not weigh today but maybe tomorrow. I think I would happy even if 5 lbs..

Wow. This tough after eating more fat before! I am wicked tired but will keep going.

B- chicken breath after 5 am workout
1- chicken breast

D- chicken salmon

Not going to stress calories I guess. My only concern is I am not getting enough for what I do but I have "stored fats" to keep me going!

Positive vibes to everyone)

I was craving ice cream today (and like the last 4 days) but didn't want to go off plan so I made a protein shake and blended it with ice and it was kinda like a milk shake, definitely cured my craving! I know whole natural foods are better but sometimes I just need to have a protein bar or shake so I don;t do bad! I am not weighing right now so I don't know if it will stall me or if i will still lose... Its kind of a freeing feeling to be honest lol

I was just watching a YouTube video and the Canadian bacon that was being used was not the bacon I'm talking about. Back bacon rates exactly like streaky bacon which is what I believe us commonly used in the US. Back bacon has less fat.http://www.kernowsausages.com/wp-con.../10/BackG1.png Looks like this raw.http://www.abcqualitymeats.co.uk/wp-...Back-Bacon.jpg

Canadian bacon is a form of back bacon. I always think of back bacon as canadian but I think real canadian bacon is peameal bacon. Which is back bacon with peameal coating.

This reminds me i had a question for you: I have been watching a lot of super size vs super skinny again l and keep hearing people refer to rashers of bacon. Is that like a package?

Wow how many times can I say Bacon in one post lol... Bacon!

Hey guys not gone just busy and I also am doing regular juddd this week because it was just easier with my DH gone.

Aleriaaa I think you are right, I need to give QWL my all ,minimum 2 weeks with no interruptions! I've got plans the next week and a half but nothing on my calendar so far for 3/20-4/3......I should just pencil that in as strict stillmans time regardless of what pops up!

HI Everyone

VLO- you are doing great and stay strong.

I hope I did not mess up... I had some chicken, salmon ( low fat), and 5 pieces of low fat bacon for dinner. It was so good. I am going to keep my protein in check though. I think the reason I gained before is eating TOO much protein without enough fat to balance anything out.

I will not add fat to anything, but hoping it did not mess up the start of something good.

I will go back to just a chicken breast for tomorrow. Lots of water.

What do you think?? My carbs are zero still and I worked out today but I still am worried about the weight loss not happening because of this.

Tomorrow is fasting again until dinner.

Good Morning! I'm feeling better today, but this cough is awful. I ran to the store late last night to stock up on chicken breast and also grabbed a whole chicken. Put in the crock pot before I went to bed, and voila! Woke up to a breakfast feast. Yum. I plan on eat the breast meat, debone the rest for the family, and I'm gonna make a broth with the bones to pour over the other breasts that I will cook later on today to get me through the rest of the week.

Hope everyone is enjoying their bacon. You guys are funny. lol

I'm done 2 lbs for the week so far. I started taking a vitamin a few days ago, and the meds have probably hindered my losses a bit.

I've so neglected starting Stillman's this year!

Any ideas for a meatloaf? I bought a 97% lean turkey to start tomorrow. But wanted some ideas to spruce up the flavor! It would bring me to 700 calories. I am thinking of eating a greek yogurt too, to increase my calories to 800.

Hi
I had some bacon last night with chicken.

Still relatively low fat but more than before. I love stillmans but I still feel confused about doing it all the time for life? Maybe I could do 5 days and then 2 days of some fats.

I need to figure this out.

Peace- stillmans is not meant to be a way of eating for life but a quick and effective way to get off unwanted weight. I would search else where for a way of life diet, I personally follow primal/ paleo but there are a lot of choices , low carb, south beach, tracking your maintenance macros and just making sure to stick to it and eat what you want if it fits your macros, trim healthy mama diet, etc

Hi VLo!
Thank you so much for the reminder. I have done this before and I just have to remind myself I am only trying to get to goal weight.

The only plan that works for me is zero carb for life. Now, since I am going to lose just have to either cut back on fat or protein. So.... I think you are spot on that this temporary. Once I get to goal, I can readjust but I Will have to remember that eating all that fat before is what got me fat. My mind was programmed into keto people shoving fat down my face. Maybe it works for some but not me.

Gotta do me! Still and always feels perfect when I am trying to lose so I am going to listen to my gut. Well, beneath the roll of fat there is a gut! Hehe

Brrrrrrrrr, I am so tired of being cold! I like winter, and I love living in a place that has all 4 seasons. But I'm ready for the cold to move on and be replaced by the warm! : )

Doing good Peace. How's you? Starting Keto tomorrow. I've Not done so well on it in the past but that was BC I was eating too much protein and too many calories. I'm going to be super strict and follow the Ankerl guidelines. Feeling super hopeful.

Summer will soon be here Mim. We had a warm day here. Well warm for March!
Great that you are on plan. It's been a crazy three weeks and I can't quite believe I've done it! I've tried not to think to hard about it so as not to get overwhelmed by it all, lol. So looking forward to starting a new three week challenge. I was gonna have a day off before I started but decided against it. I'm just going to jump straight in. I know I've lost more weight, I can nearly pull my jeans down done up! Don't get too excited though, I've still a way to go. Wish I would have done this sooner!
