I have been over eating meat lately. I have wanted to eat bad food so I keep stuffing my face full of chicken. I have not done bad but I am struggling this week. I think it's because I know i have 4 potential meals off plan coming up this week but I don't know what will be served so they could be ok but it's hard not to rationalize well I will be off plan for half the week.

I didn't do sit up last night. Will do Day 2 today!

I don't weigh in bc it messes with my head, but I do an intense hour long workout class 5 days a week, and I can physically see changes. Now to just get laser focused so I can get rid of the fat sooner than later. Ive started with Dukan for now and today is day two. I had 4oz lean beef and eggs for breakfast, I'm heating up some chicken breasts now. I'm debating making some ground turkey for the next few days at work. Had a snow day today, so I should've meal prepped more, but I napped instead lol.
Hi Kriss!!!! So glad to have you back in town!!! You can do this!!! A frined on here used to make meat scrambles. Ground turkey or beef with scramble up eggs mixed in! yum!

I couldn't finish all my chicken, but my workout didn't suffer at all. I have the remainder of my chicken and a few meatballs for work tomorrow. I had a turkey burger for dinner which was good as well. I def feel like I'm under for calories.
I am inspired! I need to do the "meat diet" to get these pounds off ASAP!! When Im eating carbs and fat, I never stop. Great job on the prep work!!! Thats key!!

If this was for me, I lost 72 pounds eating mainly 2 (sometimes 3) chicken breasts a day. I think I started off eating talapia and chicken and prob tuna or lean pork chop. No eggs or cottage cheese. As time went on I found that the chicken breast was the easiest and cheapest to cook up in bulk and the easiest to trim all the fat off of. Every bit of it. Which made it even less appetizing. lol I was really shooting for as close to zero fat as possible. I really wanted to believe that we could lose 5 pounds a week like the Doctor promised!

Big hugs to you MAR!! I do not think I could handle going back and forth with QWL. After I get a taste for something its really hard to go back. Are you able to just eat plain meat and veggies for these dinners? Maybe when youre eating off plan you can deduct the calories from the next day? Maybe you arent drinking enough. Sorry its been rough, but this too shall pass! You're bod will stop you from eating too much chicken. lol and if all else fails... go to bed early!!

Lol this is hilarious. I considered a gazelle once upon a time. Don't be intimidated by the meat diet and treadmill. I remember in bob harpers skinny rules, he mentioned doing 45mins of walking upon waking. It's actually great bc you're exercising fasted so you go right to body fat for energy! Start small and you'll be amazed at how fast your endurance builds.

Thanks for all the replies! Chicken breast only is so hard core, but I may attempt it down the line.

Brunch was 2 string cheese, and 4-6 oz of my turkey meatballs. Dinner was an awesome roasted pepper and asiago chicken sausage with eggs. I nibbled on some baked chicken breast and lamb while I waited for my sausage to boule. Prob only 2oz of each if that. Today at work was so weird so I didn't get in as much water as I wanted to.

Happy st Patrick's day!

Kriss- You are doing great! Another day down!! woohoo!! Tiny portions, and a variety throughout the day to not get bored. If the good doc was alive he would hug you.

I should start weighing my servings, I prob eat a pound.

and thanks for the motivation. I decided to stick to QWL for a bit!! One, because it works, and two because I like it here. Wish me luck on the treadmill!!

I am so tired of chicken! lol I keep eating it though... I spend so much of my time thinking of food and watching cooking videos and shows and then I just eat chicken. I can't wait until I hit goal and can start making healthy recipes!

Hello ladies! I posted over in the 3 week challenge but wanted to introduce myself and join you all here. I have attempted Stillmans in the past but never made it past the first few days. This is day 6 and I'm proud to say I have stayed on plan eating three meals a day consisting of a variety of meats and eggs. I am highly motivated as I am getting married in Jamaica in October. I hope to see the great results that many of you have had and appreciate all of you sharing your tips and experiences!

hi ladies

Sounds like everyone is doing well. I am ok. I tried keto for a few days but still feeling not so great. I am not sure what plan will work to be honest. I think I am tired today so everything feels so off. I am back and forth with what to do regarding the fats. I seem to need some, but then I feel like crap if I over do it.

I am glad you are doing well! I just want to lose this extra weight somehow!

I think if I stick to just meat but dont add butter, I might be ok. I think I overdid the fats, but everyone says you can do that on Keto-- not me. I am exhausted today!! i even had pork rinds. I am still zero carb but I am so sensitive to so many foods. Gotta stay strong and keep it simple.

Is this your first time doing low carb, or have you been off low carb for a long stretch? If so, it could be keto flu that is making you feel bad. What do your menus look like? Are you also working out?

Maybe is just because I ate too much dinner and now I am full! At least I over ate on meat and not bad food
I actually did 100... Though not all at once. I think the muscles have memory, that's what I've heard any way. I use to have a super strong core. I'll give you a laugh... When I was in labour with my daughter I gave one push but had this overwhelming feeling that if I pushed as hard as I could, it could cause problems... So I asked the midwife if I should be pushing as hard as I could... She looked at me like I was mad and said of course you should dear. So on the second push I gave it my all and my daughter literally flew out! I swear to God! The midwife was screaming, stop! Stop! But It was too late. I had to have stitches unfortunately but thankfully my daughter was fine. Sorry if TMI but it still makes me laugh today. Although induced due to preeclampsia, both of my children were born in under 30 mins, my first was 20 mins and that's including labour. It's called rapid childbirth apparently. My mother gave birth to me in 10 mins. Must be a family thing. Personally, I hated being pregnant. I know lots of mothers like it and I won't deny that it's a beautiful thing thing but i just didn't like being pregnant.

Is the Instapot one of those pressure cooker things? I saw one on you tube and it was amazing! Cooks things in super quick time and the meat is always so tender. It also converts to a slow cooker so if I bought one I could give away my croc pot. I'd have to look on Amazon... Wouldn't know where else to find one in the UK.

I am ready to pack my bags and just go...

Lets just say Ive been bad. Real bad. BUT there is GOOD news. I have been taking a vitamin for a week now and bought a treadmill. This is HUGE. In all these years I have not been an exerciser or a vitamin taker. So that's my challenge now. Doing it everyday no matter what.

Not sure what plan Im going on. Hubby is VERY against what he calls the "meat diet" at the moment and I really dont know if I can exercise and be on Stillmans QWL. I can get by food shopping, and cleaning, playing catch with the dog, or playing with the kids in the park on QWL but I would never say I EVER felt remotely energetic enough to run on a treadmill!!. More like push through what I gotta get done and go to bed early on most days!!

Anyway...enough about me. I'll figure something out. Going to catch up on the happenings. Cant wait to hear how everyone doing! xoxo
Hey Al, in out a treadmill recently too! A real sturdy one like you gat at the gym. My plan is to fast walk on a steep incline and build up to running. Again, I have to watch my back.
Why don't you try Dukan, it's brilliant! I remember GT lost over 100lbs doing it!

MMS - I ordered my instapot on Amazon.

I have been working on my closet so that I can get a treadmill! It will have to be in my closet - A huge walk in - because that is the only place for it. I'm doing minimalist wardrobe, so there will be plenty of room. I just need to decide which treadmill to get!
