I was looking back at the thread and I am committing to losing 10 lbs in 3 weeks. I hope I can do it!!!

I am wondering if you ladies use salt? Water and Chicken... and bacon, but I found a relatively low fat bacon. I will not eat it everyday though. I just need to stop this butter and fatty foods to detox.

I will report tomorrow my progress. I am also going to do fasting, which comes naturally for me and I am sure all of you as well.

I also want to comment that I think you are all doing wonderful!

Do NOT Hate me ladies. I am wondering if I am setting myself up for failure if I just do lean chicken everyday? I am trying to get a good plan here!

So.. here is what I can eat without issues- chicken wings, bacon, chicken breast, ghee, eggs (sometimes but not alot) and I love love love fish. Meat seems to be the only thing I like right now. Even coc oil makes me feel funky. So, I am wondering if I just stick to the meat only if that will help me to lose the weight.

Any ideas?

Good morning! It is the first weigh in day of round 2! Al - I put your name in the chart. You can add your goal.

Again, I am the slow and steady kid! But that is ok because at least I'm losing!

I've gotta dash. I'll check back in later!

Question - do you think plain greek yogurt would be a good replacement for cottage cheese? They look pretty similar in carbs/calories except, more calories.

Question 2 - how to make chicken breast palatable? LOL! I bought an injection kit today. I read about someone in a cooking forum injecting the chicken with hot sauce. I was like, hmm! An idea!
On the yoghurt, yes I do. The 0% total Greek brans is yummy. Sooo thick. I actually mix a little sugar free strawberry jelly (jello) in to mine.

I put chicken Crocpot with herbs, spices and some stock. Curried is nice also.

I use salt and take potassium if I feel weak and it works. I know it's frowned upon by many but the recent idea is that low carb diets make you lose a lot of electrolytes etc and low potassium, magnesium etc is thought to be the main cause of carb flu. its well documented in the Keto community.

So I added people that I thought said they wanted to join. If I've made a mistake pleaselet me know. Today is weigh in day and the beginning of week 2. Update your stats if you can. I need to seriously hit my treadmill if I want to reach my goal. I've been drinking a sugar free orange and I've a feeling it's stalling my weightloss. Gonna knock that on the head and see what next week brings. I'm still happy with my 19lb total!
Mim, do you want me to move your "2" across? Might keep our OCD member happy. Only kidding.
I think I might change the graph next challenge to show what we have lost from the very beginning. So we can see the total. What do you think? Any ideas?

another great suggestion for everyone to incorporate into their plan. I would assume it would still work out great for those that can stand cottage cheese.

I restarted Friday, but I'll call it 5 pounds for the week, and have my new weigh in day be next Sunday. Although... my real results may be skewed.. how confusing. Doesnt matter. Im just happy that we're all gonna stick to it, and get it done!

I also now have a meat thermometer so I can make sure I don't do too much over or undercooking. Hopefully, this will make it more palatable. I also bought this cottage cheese that is 3 carbs with a little fat. And I have 60 eggs on standby. So, between 20lbs of chicken breast, two things of cottage cheese, some fat free greek yogurt, and 60 eggs - hopefully I'm good for the month.

I remember seeing your posts last year on your losses. Did you have any issues with hair loss only eating chicken? I remember reading one girl in the forums lost like 50lbs in two months and had issues. I know it's all individual, but I'm curious.
Sounds like you are ready and totally committed to this challenge. 60 eggs! WOW!! That makes me happy inside!!! You are gonna rock this.

I definitely had hair loss, but it wasnt bald spots or anything. I probably owe my hairdresser an apology. I was blaming her new shampoo for a while there. oops.

I definitely had hair loss, but it wasnt bald spots or anything. I probably owe my hairdresser an apology. I was blaming her new shampoo for a while there. oops.
That's good. Well I think with a lot of weight loss it happens. Right now I'm growing my hair out so I only wash it once a week. Believe it or not, that really helps. I work from home, so makes it easy to put put it up, and wear a hair band. I've been getting a lot of bad haircuts so I've just kinda said F it and do it this way. The lazy way.

About to prepare the chicken breasts for this coming week. Will see how it goes!

Thats perfect! Nice and easy, keep everything simple while you begin this journey. Everything will fall into place except your pants. They will be falling down!! Here's to quick weight loss and getting it over and done with!
