I am up 3 lbs from Sunday so I am back in the 180s I really want to get lower into the 170s so I not back into the 180s after my trip! I can't force my body to lose faster and I did have 2 days off plan so I can't stress too much as I knew what I was doing for part of it and I can't control the other part.

I am sorry for your frustration. Have you looked into it?
I have had a couple friends that did very well with it. One struggled a lot with the no portions bigger than an egg and what she did eat had to be high nutritional impact. Other than that I know nothing about the procedure.

I am still 1.4 lbs away from my low. I am really am tired of losing the same 5 pounds over and over again for the last 2 months. Hoping to be able to stay on plan for a couple weeks (at least!) this time. Maybe then I will see some lower numbers... I have a love/hate relationship with Stillmans.

Bratty - there are several different procedures. One I am interested in is reversable, but I don't know much about it yet.

Sorry you are so frustrated! I don't know much about the surgery except you can't eat much but I am sure you will do lots of research before and know you will make the becmst choice for you.

A year! I Have been losing the same 7 lbs for a year! I hear you on being tired of it. I like that stills is fast but I hate that one day off plan is a 4lb weight gain for me and I can't seem to stay on plan for 2 whole weeks, something always comes up. I think it just comes down to making ourselves the priority. It's easy to go off plan for a long list of reasons but in the end the health benefits of weighing less are worth suffering through chicken. And we should invest in ourselves and out well being

Sorry that is really how I am feeling, I am not trying to say you aren't making yourself a priority.

I was at 180 today. 1.5 lbs to get back to my precheat day weight and it's almost the weekend again. I am feeling a little defeated and like I just can't do it. I know it's all mental but I am struggling today.

I was at 180 again today. I stick with stills so I think I just over did it on the fattier meat. But it tasted so good! Haha

I had fattier meats again today so we will see what my loses are at tomorrow!

Been good and on plan all week but my weight is still going back and forth by a few pounds. My hormones seem to be on a 2 week cycle now. It is getting aggravating. Going to stay on plan so I don't gain but it does get frustrating.

I am the same today as I was yesterday which means I am still up almost 2 lbs from my day off plan. I am super frustrated at this point to be honest. I know they aren't all gonna be high loss weeks and I know I have had higher fat meat but seriously I can't only eat chicken breasts!

I have been going to the gym and sticking with all meat and haven't lost any weight this week! So frustrated I just want to quit.

Mim and Mar I hope you two are OK. Been thinking about you both.

I was off plan Saturday to celebrate mothers day with my mom in law. Nothing super bad. Was right back on track the next day. My scale is barely moving but at least it is going down and not up. I am trying to have a better outlook on this.

Hello everyone! Thanks BrattyS and congrats on the weightloss! I had ankle surgery last June and added more unnecessary weight. I'm still working on getting back into an exercise routine.
I'm down .6 lb today. Still not perfect by the book but I'm not out of control eating so it's working!

Congrats on the loss! Any loss is a good thing. I do not do stillman by the book. I eat higher fat than I am suppose to but it works for me and keeps me sane.
I broke and had surgery on my ankle in March of last year. Was non weight baring in a wheel chain for almost 6 months. I spent that whole time eating and gaining 20 pounds.

I hope everyone is doing OK. It is too quiet in here this month.

I was off for Mother's Day too and am back on plan but I will be off plan for tomorrow until Monday for my trip to Vegas! I am still at 180 so hopefully I don't ruin everything in Vegas.

I am in a completion to lose weigh where you bet on yourself to lose a certain amount and i have to be down 4% of my weight by June 7 so I have to get back on plan as soon as I get back from my trip so I don't lose my money! I was hoping this would keep me on plan but I still struggle with weekends, maybe with the deadline looming after vacation it will force me to make some changes

Mim, I'm delurking to say I'm so sorry you are feeling so frustrated. I joined LCF because of this Stillman's forum. I found I got headaches from his main plan, so I gave up on it, but have been following all of you fondly for years.

I recently read the entire first book by Stillman (huge thanks to Aleria for describing how to find it online), and was really impressed by how modern his views are: that he believes everyone responds differently to foods, that some of his patients did best by alternating between his various approaches, that some people have to change things to keep progressing, etc. He even describes a form of intermittent fasting! So modern. I really enjoy, and feel great on, his all produce diet (for brief periods), and intermittent fasts. I don't recall whether you have experimented with mixing in some of his other plans.

No scale movement today. Yesterday I boiled eggs, made a batch of chicken thighs and the hubby grilled burgers. I am set for the week.
On a personal note. My youngest graduates from elementary school today. I am going to be an emotional mess!
