That is what happened to me last week. So happy for your inches, in the long run it is the non scale wins that mean more. You're smaller, healthier etc.
The scale just likes being a jerk from time to time.

Congrats bratty! You'll be in onederland before you know it.

I did a halfway mark for this 21 day segment. After 10 days... Down 2.2 pounds. To be fair the next morning my cycle started. So maybe I'm holding onto water and I'll have better results at the end. I was hoping to have 5-7ish pounds off so far so maybe hopefully water weight is hiding the difference.

I am up a pound today. No clue why. After looking at my chart I have only lost 1.2 in 3 weeks. I need to make some adjustments....

Kal, you probably are holding onto a couple pounds of bloat. I hope you see it drop soon!

Sigh - no weight loss over the weekend. But then again - no weight gain!

Kal and Bratty - I just know you will see smiling faces on your scales soon!

I have scaled back my eating, a bit leaner. 1 egg and 1 breakfast sausage for breakfast, Lunch meat with one slice of cheese for lunch and deviled eggs for dinner. I was rewarded the last two days with big losses. I think I was eating too many calories before and it was stalling me. Probably the cheese... I love it too much.

We are going to my in laws on Saturday for fathers day dinner, I have no clue what I will be eating. I will try to behave but I am not too worried about it.

7.8 lbs till wonderland!

I would like to join the thread! I tried Stillmans a couple times throughout the years and got good results. I started with two weeks doing Atkins induction. Lost 2.5 lbs the first week, second week I bounced up and down and lost another .5. Wasn't happy with that, so I pulled out my Stillman book! (The Inches-Off Diet.) Which also has the QWL and dozens of others. I started the QWL on Sunday and have lost 2.4 lbs already! (Disclaimer: I only have a total of 10 lbs to lose. Lost 3 with Atkins in two weeks, 2.4 with QWL in 4 days. So I think that is great progress.)

I don't eat breakfast usually, but am hungry in the mornings since I'm only getting about 800 calories a day. I discovered Pure Protein Shakes and have decided to use them for breakfast. They run about 160 calories, 2g carbs, 1g fat and 35g protein, depending on the flavor. They're not too bad taste wise, although expensive.

In addition to the weight loss, something else is improving which is blowing my mind. For about six months, I've been having sciatica (I think)- some pain in left glute and radiating into my hip/outer thigh. I've done physical therapy, massage, acupuncture with Only a day or two of relief. Well for the past three days , my pain is 90% LESS!!!! I'm in total shock. Even on Atkins I still had the pain. I'm flabbergasted.... hope it lasts

Welcome! I am always amazed at some of the health benefits I have read about when a person does a zero carb diet. I hope it continues to help you. That really is amazing.

I don't eat a lot but what I do eat is higher fat than "Stillmans" I am more Keto than anything. I feel so much better(fuller and more energy) doing it this way than strict lean meats. I just keep posting here because I have lived here for so many years.

Hello! I'm up .2 lb today, but not too concerned about it. Staying on plan.

Yesterday I had:

Pure Protein Shake
16 oz americano with heavy cream (not giving that up at this time)

1/2 cup turkey chili and piece of chicken quiche

Packet of tuna with 1/2 cup low fat cottage

6 oz 85% turkey burger, 2 dill pickle spears, 1 sf jello cup

I also had a cup of chicken broth I sipped throughout the day.

Had a wonderful massage after work.

Dont blame you for not giving up the americano with heavy cream. I have 2 cups of decaf (cant have caffeine) and half n half every morning. I will not give it up.
What is the turkey chili you are eating?

I try to use as little cream as possible, so far it hasn't been an issue!
The chili is very simple- ground turkey, can of diced tomatoes, unsweetened cocoa powder, spices.

FYI: the vanilla Pure Protein shake is really good! Other flavors are fine but this one is the best in my opinion. Very creamy, not as much aftertaste. I added cinnamon.

I may have to try the chili as a treat. It sounds yummy. I wanted to like shakes but I felt food deprived when I had it instead of food. I hope the scale moves the other direction for you tomorrow!

Bratty (I love that name!!),
Thin/weak tasting shakes don't do it for me, but this one is much thicker and creamier. I savor it while consciously drinking it and that helps with satiety. I bought three individual cans to test before committing to a 12 pack. I'm going back for the vanilla!

Does anyone build treat meals or off days into the plan? I am doing 6 days QWL, then Saturday evening off due to a BBQ, then Sunday I"m starting the rice diet for 6 days.

I was doing 2 week on plan then one day off but it would take a week to get back to the weight I was when I went off. Lately I have been doing 3 weeks on 1 day off and it has been better.
We are going off Saturday for Father day dinner, next week I will just keep it on a low carb 1200 calorie plan. Then we go to the beach. I have no intention of being on any plan while there.

Down .6 today despite the big steak I had. Today is my last day on plan until the beginning of July. Hope I don't gain too much beyond the 6lbs of water bloat I get when i am out of ketosis. I still plan to post and keep in touch.

Have a fun time at the beach!!!

My weight has been bouncing a bit the last couple days, but my tummy is 'gushy' so hopefully I'll have a lil' whoosh soon

Hmmmm it seems like there aren't many people doing Stillmans these days? The threads used to be more active.

It goes in spurts. Guess no one is interested in losing weight in June.

Hi Everyone!!! I jumped back into Stillyland last Friday and managed to drop 10 pounds. Nothing but chicken (grilled or slow cooked and shredded), coffee with S&L, Green Tea Peach Mango CL, a few diet pepsis and sprites here and there, and some swigs of pickle juice! Dont ask.. Drinks never counted as cheats in my book.

Im so sorry I dont get to check in as often as I like. I plan on doing a few weeks of QWL, and weekends will be better for check ins.

The first few days were horrible as usual, and I can say Im feeling pretty good today. Cravings at bay, and actually looking forward to chicken tonight!

you girlies!! hope all is well. hugs!!

Wish I had new and exciting things to report for today....but nope. Still eatin chicken, still drinkin CL. lol

I did use McCormick Rotisserie Seasoning on the big batch of slow cooker chicken. It has a nice flavor. I cooked 8 chk breasts sprinkled with the seasoning, for 8 hours. Took each one out and shredded in a bowl, then poured all the juice back in after it cooled. Eating it that way makes it not so dry. Chicken breasts are always dry for me, from the slow cooker. But poring the juice back in, if I eat it cold, its just wet from the gelatin like juice and easy to get down, if I warm it up its more like triple chicken soup cause the juice/gelatin melts. Most of the time Im just grabbing a few scoops cold from the fridge and eating it as is. keepin it simple.

Whats everyones plan for today? I rootin for ya!!

Hey!

Hope to join you in Stills.

I have gained 30 pounds since 2015.

Need to lose around 50-55 in total.

I think I need to do it via Stillman!

I remember I did something before - 4 egg whites, then 400gram chicken the whole day, and as much diet soda as I could cram into my mouth and lost A LOT.

But that was probably ten years ago! Things are different now -- so much older.

Anyway, looking forward to joining your journey

I find it easier to stick to it if I'm doing it with other people!

Hi friends! I'm sorry I haven't been around - I had a spur of the moment trip out of state and didn't have my computer with me. I will know the weight damage in the morning. I suspect a lot of damage!
