Al, this pot of SLOW RO CKN will bring me to home base in no time flat. I'm hoping I'll be at goal in a month. I started working out again. Just a half hour on the treadmill will help jump the losses anything more and my appetite just increases and that's counter productive for me on Stillies.

UR BAAAAAACCCKK! Yippy! I was so worried you fell into a ditch! Argh. Way to stay on track.

Check this crap out... I lost a lb my first day of eating the SLOW-RO, my nickname for this pot of love, and then the next freaking day I GAINED A LB. I'm like, OH NO WAY BABY! So, I cut out all full fat eggs and ate mostly chicken in the pot and bamb, down another lb. There is something to be said, I THINK about cutting the fat as much as possible. Or maybe I was just full of poo? Not quite sure. LOL

Nontheless, I'm on the road to heaven. I really want to eat so healthy when I'm at goal. I want most of my meals to be boat loads of veggies, and salads and good fats and lean proteins with an occassional nut or red meat thrown in. I just want that. Once and for all.

My issue is time. I will go hour after hour without food, stress out and not even drink water then go have a glass of wine OCCASIONALLY after school which then turns into 3 glasses, or 2 big vodka martini's OMGOODNESS, confession time... Then I eat a few Doritos, a handful of chicken and go to bed. I'm literally crashing my metabolism. It's so horrible. ARGH! NO MORE. I have to plan for success not wait for failure. HELP ME LORD.

Nursing School is a BEAST. It's horribly time consuming so I have to put things in priority. I have to. My health is imperative at this point in the game.

SO GLAD YOU ARE BACK IN ON THE BOARD EVERYONE! I need you.

Hugs to you B!!!!! I try to get rid of every bit of fat on QWL. I trim that chicken up good before I throw them in the pot.

Everything healthy and in moderation, that is key. Even healthy foods can pack the weight back on with the quickness. With your crazy schedule the meal prep is probably the best thing for you! and look into frozen meal prepping too, or once a month cooking. Those are just baggies of meats and veggies and seasoning that you throw into a slow cooker or pressure cooker.

You will get through this. Be proud of the accomplishments you have made already!! You didnt totally go off the deep end. You've got full control over all of this!!

It was a busy week for me, and I dont like to use my phone for LCF, but I will try to check in more on weekdays!!!!

The hardest part for me is moderation. You'd think I would have learned by now!! Seems like the meal prep is the answer to all my problems too. Once the containers are empty, done for the day.

Im repeating but QWL is the only thing that I can do for moderation. Its cause Im hardly ever hungry on it. Introduce veggies, or beans, or rice and I can put it down. lololol ahhh.... hummus..the love of my life. lololol But most people eat like a tablespoon. I'll eat it with a tablespoon!!! true stories peeps...

Hello Stillman's group,

Today I start trying stillmans/psmf.

After 3+ years of high fat and almost zero carbs, my body figured out how to store fat in my cells in spite of ketosis . I started trying to cut back on fat in June but I want to lose quickly. So here I am, giving this a good try, hopefully for eight weeks, until September 1.

Many of my skinny clothes don't fit so I really need to take off about 30-40 pounds. I have no idea how quickly it will go but I do have a history of being able to lose (and gain) quickly. For the first time I will try to weigh every day.

Eggs are my favorite so today I made them poached for the first time. They were good! I will be having a pouch of tuna in water for my lunch at work (night nurse). On my way home in the morning I will buy chicken breasts and put them in the slow cooker. Will also buy some Frank's.

Al did you lose this week? You lost like 4 last week and the week before last and 10 the first week. What's your stats, Momma?

I bought a bag of large shrimp and with my Hot Sauce, I'm having 100 calories of this if I don't want to have chicken. It seems to tide me over for hours. NO FAT, YA'LL. NO FAT.

Did you know that skinless ckn breast of about 4 oz has 6
4 grams of fat. How crazy is this?

So, here's the dealio! When I work out I totall y get more hungry, FOR SURE! Even with just walking on the Treadmill for 30 mins or less, it really jacks my appetite up a bit. NOT a lot, but I eat about 150 cals more a day. So, I may just ditch the cardio for two weeks and let the fat melt off.

AL, how many calories do you think you eat a day? I am eating a half a cup of my SLOW RO at a time like 2x a day. It's roughly 148 cals and 4 gr. of fat. I'm also having 4 oz of Lean Gr. Organic Turkey for breakfast with .5cup of eggwhites. Which is about 200 cals for that meal. I'm getting between 700-800 a day give or take. Just curious as to how much SLOW RO you are eating. Have you portioned it out?

YeAh!!! I'm so EXCITED TO HAVE YOU WITH US! I"m in Nursing School at the moment and would love to share your journey with us. I just love how God brings people into your lives. Even if it's just a silly weight loss web page. Nice to meet you! You can do this. Just DO IT ALL THE WAY. Don't buy any premade processed crappy meats. Do the SLOW RO and season until your heart is content. I added .25 C of Organic CKN stock to mine and it really made a nice "gravy" I shredded it when it was finished and popped it in the frigde overnight and whallah, food for almost a week. Gotta love the convience. THANKS TO MS. AL, our resident guru for this wonderful dish! Also, try to have as few fatty eggs as possible. It really helps to rip through the fat faster.

Hi Amy! Welcome aboard!! You will no doubt have success on QWL!! So happy to have someone join us and looking forward to hearing about you shrink!

I had to look up psmf. Seems a lot like QWL. Poor Dr. Stillman, he never gets the credit.

Not sure how much you read, but the first few days of QWL can be tricky. Fatigue, nausea, headache, overall feeling of impending doom!! Try to get as must rest as you can and whatever you do, stick to the plan. You will be greatly rewarded, my friend.

3lbs so far this week, my weigh in is tomorrow morning. I only need a few ounces to hit 4.

I did not need to know that interesting fact about chicken B!!! Im perplexed where the fat is?? Oh... I'll take a cue from the doc himself when he speaks of inches off.. Its like "pulling the extra fat from between the muscles" Guess we may have to ditch the juices if it holds up our losses. NOT!

I say we exercise once we lose it all!! (But thats me making excuses and being lazy.heehee)

I dont count calories, but I eat 2 chicken breasts a day, and sometimes 3. Never more than 3. Sometimes I make a big bowl, but I cant bring myself to finish it though... I usually eat more on my cook days cause it tastes so good. Then the rest is cold straight up out the fridge the next few days.

oh and I usually eat twice a day. I like a full plate! I think your menu sounds great B, as long as its enough substance to fill you up!

I used to love the turkey scrambles/meat scrambles. I know you love the turkey bacon, but when you get bored try ground turkey with scrambled eggs mixed in or lean ground beef. I think this works really well for batch cooking too! Make it as interesting as you need to to stay on track!

AL "IMPENDING DOOM!" That's for sure!!! It's uppet torture. I thought I was going to escape the dreaded Keto Flu this time around but, it bit me in the rump but good after day 4. Weird.

Al, are your ckn breasts the GIGANTIC MUTANT CKN BREASTS that you see at Costco. OMGOODNESS, I read the ingredients once and it said 20 percent sodium water and rosemary injected. PERFECT!

This is why I will not buy anything but Organic. It costs more but goodness knows where those other ckns have been.

I think I'm gonna be here a solid month. I want to love 25 lbs. I will be under weight 12 lbs. then. I want my skinnies to be falling off me. That's how serious I am about this go around. ARGH!

DUDE!

IT MAKES ME ANGRY THAT DUKAN LITERALLY RIPPED STILLMAN'S OFF COMPLETELY! He even had the NERVE to say he fell into this way of dieting due to an over wt. patient of his whom he had no idea how to treat. THIS IS THE EXACT VERBIAGE AS STILLMANS! ARGH! What a travesty.

Nonetheless, it works. And, it works like NOW! The first time I did this plan I lost almost 30 lbs. in my first month. I was sssoooooooo skinny! I just loved it. I would throw on sundresses and cowboy boots and just look as cute as sunshine. LOL It will happen again. ONE MONTH FOR ME!

Al, do you try to go to bed kinda hungry? When do you eat? I eat 3 small bowls of SLOW RO or 2 bowls and then the turkey eggwhite dealio.

Great idea with the scramble though. I'll give it a whirl. I got even lower fat turkey today to mix in with my 11 gram of fat per 4 oz turkey. I am seriously cutting all fat as much as possible.

Just using eggs, like 3 a day for 2 days made me gain a lb. NO ROAD-BLOCKS FOR ME. I really don't even notice hunger being out of check anymore. So, thats good!

Slow ro and egg whites with extra lean turkey for me all the way!
