I just checked out this Protein Sparing DIET DELIO and I think it's FANTASTIC.
F I N A L L Y Stillman's diet can have a voice. People go around and around year after year getting bigger and bigger and destroying their lives and happiness and purpose bc they lack knowledge. So painful. I see the same people here eating way too much fat and hidden carbs in nuts and other LC garbage and have never achieved their goals. The Cleveland Clinic has such amazing success with this diet and no one dies from that regime. This diet helps people, period. Yes, we need to master our mnts plan and that will take trial and error but, for a short few months, depending on how much you need to lose, Stillman's is lightning fast if you do it right to a T.


I'm blown away by how how easy it gets after 10 days. You just don't think about it anymore. When your hungry, you eat. Done. Simple. Bamb.

The funny thing is I dont see where vegetables are included in the diet, until the end when it gives sample menus and recipe ideas...So this is not QWL, more like Stillmans 14 Day shape up. Actually, this psmf plan seems quite healthy and well rounded!


MAR- This plan may be a perfect fit for you. Check it out when you get a chance. Seems like heaven compared to QWL. includes a little cheese, and 12 grams of veggies, with a list and serving size suggestions.


This may be my maintenance plan, for a while B, before I go back to plants. hmmmm

Really guys, check it out. It also gives great ideas for seasonings and marinades. Im printing it out!!

HAHAHAHAH You and I are the same brain. I too was scowering the Internet and YOU TUBE to get the SKINNY on this PSMF Noise. lol


It is TOTALLY STILLMAN'S. One thing that I never really looked at is the exact amount of Protein that a body should be getting. I do think, even on Stillman's that someone can eat too much protein. This really can slow us down too. Just like both Stills and Atkins said, "It's not a free for all!" Eat to satiate hunger. Furthermore, I do not adhere to the nonsense that "One MUST MAKE SURE to get all their req daily allotment of protein in for that one day!" REDIC. If you're not hungry and it's bedtime, GO TO SLEEP. You'll wake up thinner, more alert and happy.

Why do we want to complicate the simple; I will never understand this...

Eat just enough to not be starving, eat the leanest meat you can and keep it rollin' my goodness, life is passing us by second by second. Get it right or get LEFT! This is my "No NONSENSE WOL now!" I have to paddle myself second by second to get my flesh in line. It's merely FOOD PEOPLE! Get a grip, don't trip!

SO weigh in update!

I only lost .2 today. NOT GOOD ENOUGH!

SO, I'm cutting out my diet soda's to only 2 a day; water will be with me from here on out.

I'm cutting down on the Hot Sauce. Yes, it's NO CAL NO CARB ETC, but I was bathing in this stuff at each meal. THAT'S OVER WITH TOO! I only had 1 tsp on my SLOW RO this morning.

I'm going to have 3 0.5 Cups of Slow RO with .5 C of egg whites if I need it at night if I get hungry. THAT'S IT! This is super low cal, just enough protein to not have my heart and body canabolize and I'll be at goal in a MONTH!

NO MORE DILLY DALLY! I have to know what is going down the hatch and nothing else will touch my lips; I promise...

HELP GOD!

We should be losing a lb a day. PERIOD. And, if we are not; something is wrong. I will get to the bottom of this and I will shout it from the rafters. It is not good to do this long term; our bodies need to eat the RAINBOW for maximum health and well-being. Argh to walking in the dark. Can you tell I'm giving myself a paddling. HAHAHA

Al, I do take vitamins, fish oil and extra B Vit's along with COQ 10. It makes a big difference. I also have to watch my health due to the Thyroid issues...

Oh, and I take 100 Mg. of Potassium when I'm dieting too. So I don't get heart issues...

so true so true. all of it! Even as you read through Stillmans book, you realize the portions are very small. So even though it states to eat as much we need, that doesnt mean as much as we might want. darn him..

SO HERE'S MY DAILY WEIGH IN! NOT EXTATIC!

I lost .2 on the scale this a.m. Not happy with this. I know we can lose 1 lb or so a day. I must be eating too much protein, having too much salt or hidden carbos...

My plan of attack! I will no longer BATHE my Slow Ro in buckets of Franks Red hot... OH GET THE BUFFALO FLAVOR NOT THE ORIGINAL; it's da-bominator...
I will only use .5 T per meal; if that.

I will ONLY HAVE 2 diet soda's a day; the rest of the day will be water with a splash of ACV to flush out the ketones.

Here's the daily eating plan!

.5 C of Slow Ro THREE TIMES a day!
.5 C of egg whites at night if I am ravenous...

This comes out at 450 cals, 105 gr protein, 9 grams of fat. THIS IS JUST THE 1.5 C of Slow Ro. IF I add in the Whites, .5 C 13 grams of protein, 0 fat, 62 calories. I'll be ret to jet.

This is my plan and I'm sticking with it, God willing. I do not want to continue jerking around week after week. I need to feed my body the RAINBOW with good fats, no grains and good lean proteins as soon as possible.

Food is fuel and I have 20 lbs of extra fuel that will be ripped through in a matter of one month. I'm resolved!

thanks for the info. I may have to ask you again later. Im gonna try to get the one a day into my routine, and then expand!

I used to get leg cramps in the middle of the night on QWL.. Hasnt happened this time yet. Would like to prevent that if possible!!

dont fret! I have gone 3 days at the same weight and then lose 2. Give your body a chance, and make sure you are drinking enough. I drink the 2 quarts of Crystal Light every day and lots of coffee and tea in between. (i cant do water) Please, please, please if you end up hungry, eat.

I had hot sauce on my chicken last night.. Probably 6 splashes worth.

Al, You are getting the cramps, or were, due to loss in potassium.

As per your 3 dashes of hot sauce, well, I had you beat by about 2 more tablespoons. LOL No seriously, I probably had like 1.5 T at each meal but I really do not want any delays. I seasoned the heck out of the batch I just made and added my usual .5 C of CKN STOCK, fat free. With ground mustard, dijon mustard, deli mustard, and last but not least RICE WINE VINEGAR . It is so delicious on it's own. I ADORE THIS MEAL. Thank you, so much for sharing it with us!

AMY, how was work? I too am curious how your first day went. DRINK THAT WATER, GIRL~ Thanks for mentioning the Modified Fast thingie. It's very motivating to me that even though Dr. L y l e M. ripped Still's off but added a weeeeeee bit of nonessential carbos, that don't mean beans to this diet... I love to see other's succeeding with the diet. As it cuts all the brain, twisting, bs that plague most LC diets. Everyone is so fearful of DEATH if they don't eat their BREAD AND GRAINS AND XYZ. Truth be told; they never even at that crap before so why start now. ahahahah Just keepin' it real... REAL DUMB! hahaha

I love this thread!! Love the energy and enthusiasm! B Sugar free, your posts have me loling. Seriously love the way you write.

Stillmans works better for me than anything else. I used to be an Atkins person but I got to the point where I was gaining on high fat and no one believes me. They continued to say that was impossible, meanwhile I was getting softer and squishier and the BF percentage was creeping up. Anyway, stillmans is hard sometimes, it gets boring, but for my money there's nothing like it.

So I'm doing a couple of weeks to get to my vanity weight before the GNR concert. Vain, ya, I guess .. but why not. Gotta read up on this SLO RO you're talking about!

I'm on day 4, hope you don't mind if I join you ladies!

Brief note to thank you so much for the kind welcomes!

My first day/night was amazing. I think high fat was making me hungry! So far I have better appetite suppression with low fat. This is a shock to me. I guess my body really needs this change. My stomach rumbled a couple times at work but in the busy stress, I did not have time to eat. I will eat tuna tonight, straight from the pouch as recommended . I'm also taking three HB eggs (with yolks for now--might have to wean off them).

For the moment, I'm relying on this forum for info as I have not read the book yet. I will have to find it and/or read online when I have time in a week or so.

You do not need the book at all. Every detail is in the sticky on the main page. The book is just for entertainment purposes. Its literally 3 pages of QWL, and then a million other diets. Way to go making it through Day 1. or Night 1??

LOL Nonetheless, Bless ur LC heart for your kind words. You made my day. I'm actually a writer, so this means much to moi. We are so happy you came out from behind the "lurking shadows" to join we bunch of LOSERS! I see how much success you have already had with LC, congrats to your success too. I'm with you sister-momma, Atkins can seriously turn into FATKINS if we belly up to the blocks of cheese, nuts and full-fat-fare, that is fosho. Trust me; been there, done that.

Stillies is the only way to get this crap OFF and likidiesplit. That's what I LOVE, it's like drive through new body in a matter of months. The first time I did this diet I blew people out of the water. One day I was 30 lbs over wt. the next I looked like a super model in size 2 jeans, NO LIE. The haters at work could not stop gawking and balking over my miraculous transformation. I just LOVED IT.

As per the SLOW RO, that's Al's creation which truly is a gift from GOD HIMSELF. This pot of chicken will get you skinny min in a month. No lie. GIve it a try, you will love it.

But, aboard. Stay on plan no matter what, because we now know where you live and we will hunt you down and tackle you if anything more than 2 grams of fat and 0 carbs enters your pie-hole...

NURSE AMY!!!!! YEAH for you having a wonderful night. You stayed strong and lost a lb. KUTGW! The whole eggs are cool. I just cut them out as I was not losing something every day and this is no G for me. I'm gonna swap out eggs for egg whites and fat free canned crab meat. OMGOODNESS, it's amazing, so sweet tasting and ZERO FAT, YO~~~ AND ONLY 11 GRAMS OF FAT FOR 2 OZ. which is a lot for crab, not very dense meat. Furthermore, I"m cutting the diet soda down to only 2 and only 1 splenda packet as well. Gotta cut the hidden carbies. They SUCK!

So Ms. Amy, your new name is now AM, (Pronounced AIM) Hope you like it
