Tony, that is so sweet. You can't help but like a guy like that. My niece that got married two years ago and now has little Charlotte, her husband did the same thing only he flew to Brattleboro from Cleveland. Jodi was so surprised! I had told the family after first meeting him that if he and Jodi did not end up married we were going to adopt him. lol Will Sarah be moving to England when she gets married?

i fell asleep late yesterday afternoon about 5 pm

I woke up at exactly 8:42 pm. I missed JEOPARDY again, BUT I was not hungry enough to eat. I am saving my appetite for 5 Guys this afternoon. either before or after 5 Guys, I will go across the street to B & N to purchase the current issue of BBC music magazine, and the large size of the Passionfruit Unsweetened ice tea, most delicious and most refreshing. with any luck, perhaps the NETRITION shipment should be sitting in the package room, downstairs. My Netrition comes tomorrow!

Too funny on adopting the boyfriend!

Today's menu is a repeat, ham and cheese, salad. I did get hungry and had 2 mini beef sticks and some sunflower seeds.

The men are all packed and ready, bus leaves this evening. Thing 2 is determined to shoot better than Thing 1! I hope the old man doesn't walk too much, his foot is better, I just want it to stay that way.

The work weight loss challenge ends next Friday, I still need to lose 5 pounds!

i was out yesterday for a short time.

it was SO HOT out there...How hot was it??? it was so hot, you could fry an egg on my derriere. appetizing though that seems, I would love a FREE 1 way ticket to Antarctica. Yesterday's food was: container of chicken soup, 2 cheddar burgers with a sunny side up egg on top, and 1/2 roast chicken. I ordered broiled salmon with roasted broccoli, too. I will eat that much later in the day. I am going out again today. I must be a glutton for punishment! best of luck with the contest, Gibbs. Love & Profits: FLATFERENGHI

Thanks FF, I'm determined to get my money back!

The satellite doesn't have a signal, went out last night, I'll call today and hopefully they'll come take a look this afternoon.

Today's food plan is unknown, didn't have breakfast, lunch will probably be a fast food bunless burger on the way home from a meeting. I think I have Chinese in the cabinet and shrimp in the freezer, that sounds good.

6am the old man said they had just gone through Atlanta and he hadn't had much sleep.

Chris, hope you get your satellite going quick! So will the tournament be at 1:00 Friday on ESPN?

FF, I am amazed you continue to go outside and brave the heat. So catch a bus to Shoprite when you go?

I can't find it listed anywhere, it's Friday and Saturday but we shoot Friday at 1pm. I'm guessing it will be on in a few weeks.

Stinky "noodles", Italian dressing, veggies, shrimp that were sauteed in butter, plus minced garlic. Breadsticks cut in half, buttered, and baked with mozzarella cheese.

Yum!

chris, how did that happen?...please let us know if the kids will be on tv...i would make a point of watching!

ff, did you make it to 5 guys?...do tell?

abi, sarah does not want to live in england...my understanding is that she may agree to live there for a year or so until he gets his master's degree and then they will move here permanently...to me, this is all gonna be tricky...one of them is going to have to give up being close to their family and their country...sarah called today after he asked her and she sounded excited...

abs, how is hubby doing?

we have the girls again tonight...we had our grandson last night and he was great, but emmy and sal picked him up today...we are having so much fun with these kids...

OR car svc depending on the circumstances. I was all primed to go out yesterday, but changed my mind at the last minute. I woke an hour ago, and I am NOT going back to bed, until I get home this evening. I expect to be very hungry when I get to 5 Guys. I checked the weather. I see no relief until
Tuesday. Happy summer day #31 y, all. Love & Profits: FLATFERENGHI

Well, Chris, the boys must be shooting around now! Hope they do well. Your dinner photo looked delicious!
Tony, glad Sarah wants to live in the US eventually. What is her fiancé getting his masters in? Know you are just having the best time with those sweet little kids! Hubby is doing so so. Still looks awful and can't wait until the 28th to get his face fixed. He is having no pain though which is good.

FF, so you woke up this morning at 3:53 and stayed up until you got to 5 guys? Hope you enjoyed your burgers!

My great niece Charlotte, named for my Mom turned 7 months old this week. So glad we got to see her last Sunday before they went back to Cleveland!

She's a cutie!!

Thing 1 had a bad day, shot 20 lower than usual with a 266. Thing 2 did average, 272. The niece was 263, lower than usual. I think the bus ride hurt them.

The microwave looked rusted under the glass plate, I can't figure that out. I bought a new one, bigger. Got an ankle holster for my gun, the new neighbors across the road own a gun shop, she wouldn't let me pay! And she's ordering me a new toy! Plus I bought paint, and even did it today, looks like a smurf puked on the wall. All I needed was a quart, but I'm guessing it will need another coat.

A bagel with butter, spaghetti salad, Chinese. And I'm hungry, so I might have something else...

FF MAKES HISTORY!!!

because I got my stuff from Netrition AND my Copperchef Pan xl on the same day? No (although I did!) because I had the worst cup of coffee in the alpha quadrant of this galaxy, today, and did not croak? No (and I did not croak); because I survived the 95 degrees plus the humidity, and did not croak? No(and I did not croak-not yet anyway). It was because, when I went to 5 Guys, I ate only ONE burger(bunless bacon cheese burger-with 1 slice tomato, a tiny bit of onion and pickle.) all week long I kept reminding myself to take the reduced carb ketchup. so of course I left it home. I got a pkt of ketchup on the side and put a few molecules on the top patty along with an equal amt of mayo. I ate it V E R Y S L O W L Y. OH, was it good! and think of the latinum I saved by not eating another! I washed it down with a Dasani bottled water-all 16.9 oz. where do they get these quantities? I must confess that I am quite shaggers. I will sleep like a baby tonight. btw, Chris-the stinky noodles look most appetizing no matter what direction they face. I hope your summer day #31 was as exciting for y'all as it was pour moi meme. Love & Profits: FLATFERENGHI

wow, ff, that is an impressive story!...good for you!...

abs, that baby looks sooooo happy!...happy to hear hubby is not in pain...i don't blame him for being anxious to be done with it all...

sarah's bday tomorrow - the small gathering has turned into a bash with 25 20-somethings coming for dinner...sarah requested grilled salmon, steak tips, rice and salad and we will also have baked beans. corn-on-the-cob, watermelon and ice cream cake...i've got a ton to do in the a.m. and i should be asleep now: mow the lawn, clean the pool filter, hit the gym, go to the building to pick up chairs, tables, tents, etc....

brought the babies back home today but will see them again tomorrow :-)

what's everyone else up to?

Good morning!

Today's plan, hair cut this mornng, ashamed to admit it's been a very long time since I had one. Back to Menards for more paint, it needs another coat. Big Lots for their cheap low carb baking products. The farm store for a new toy for Moose, he finally ripped his duckies neck off! Plus I need to shampoo the carpet in the TV room.

Food will be steak and eggs here in a few, last of the pasta salad, and steak and asparagus.

Have a good day!

what a day yesterday!...the kids all went to northern nh for a hike and then came here at around 3 and stayed til almost 10 - lots of food and fun...everything was perfect, topped off by a swim at dusk with amadora...about 25 of them - sarah invited some cousins, friends, bfs, gfs, etc....we had people from london, new zealand, italy and nicaragua here...had 4 tables and 25 chairs set up on the deck and we were blessed with good weather...most importantly, sarah had a great bday and was smiling the whole time except when she was scolding me for not giving blood recently...haha

not sure about today..scheduled a couple of days off and we were thinking about heading to maine, but it is supposed to rain tomorrow and tuesday...it's the last day of the stratham fair, so that's a possibility as well...

what are y'all up to?

Just shy of 3400 kids from the US and Canada. For being the world final, I thought there'd be a lot more. Next year both national and world finals are in Louisviile, MUCH closer to home.

Food this week will be few eggs, lots of chicken and tuna. I have to lose 5# by Friday, so I'm doing the Stillman diet again. We'll see how long I make it.

Wow Tony, for your next career change you can be a party planner. What a great birthday for Sarah!

FF, so happy your netrition order and your Copperchef pan arrived the same day. Have you tried out the pan yet?

Chris, 3400 kids sounds like a huge competition. Great that the kids came in 45th out of 69 teams. Good luck on losing the 5 pounds by Friday!

I am still doing the fast five eating from noon until when I hit the sack at 3 or 4. I have stalled with losing one pound a week so am going very strict low carb. Some people on the fast five forum have great results not being strict low carb but I'm not one of them.

DD and family are on a weeks' vacation in Gulf Shores, Alabama and will be checking in today to Castaways, the condo we lived in our last 10 years in Alabama. We lived on the 6th floor and they will stay in a larger condo on the 4th floor. Abigale, the 13 year old was pretty little the last time they came to see us and can't remember the beautiful white sand. She will be amused that it makes a whoosh whoosh sound when you walk in it. It makes me sort of homesick thinking about it but then there were all the hurricanes. They haven't had one hit there since we left in 2007. lol

STILL EXHAUSTED FROM FRIDAY.

I will probably unpack sometime tomorrow or Wednesday. I waited this long, another day or so won't matter. Aug 1 is the inauguration of the copperchef xl pan. I had a wonderful meal yesterday. it was about 5 pm. I got the pork chop dinner yesterday. I had them melt a thin slice of mozzarella on each one. I also had them put some marinara sauce on the side. I "forced" the 2 chops to share 1 level tablespoon. worst scene scenario would be 2 gr carbs for the sauce.I sprinkled some minced garlic, and oregano on it. I also had a few forkfuls of their cooked escarole, which I love. it is easy to overdo the salads and veggies, especially on ATKINS 72. I hate to throw food out. but when I put it in the fridge, it sits there until it spoils. then I have to toss it out anyway. of course, I had the chicken broth. NEVER underestimate the power of that Jewish Penicillin! gonna have a pint container of the aforementioned in an hour or so. Total carbs for that whole meal was no more than 5 grams. total carbs for the day was no more than 5 gr carbs. if I was really hungry later that evening, I would have eaten something. I am not Ghandi. Happy summer day#34, HEWMONS. Love & Profits: FLATFERENGHI

Stats: 375/263/199 or less
WOE: Stay below 20 carbs per day
Start Date: 7/12/16 for yet another time
Today's final numbers...
830 calories
21 grams of fat, which I think is too high
148 protein
0 carbs

Is there really that much fat in skinless chicken breasts (1.5) and thighs (3)?
