I'm jumping back in.
goal for august: 169 but honestly I'll be happy to maintain - this is a stressful month.
Longer term goal: lose 7-8 lbs by end of October - this is 25% of my year-long goal of being 2-3 sizes smaller (~30 lbs for me) by next year's birthday (July 2018).

My goal is to continue to maintain within my range of 100-108lbs, allowing for my usual excursions relating to pain management, muscle swelling, fluid shifts etc. Overall my goal is to maintain my body fat level somewhere between 20-25%.

Doing a great job maintaining!

A lot is said about being discouraged by their scales. I guess I'm just philosophical about it. I'm doing either what I'm suppose to be doing or at least close to it so if bod decides to act differently, then what is is. My job is to keep on track!

Here's praying Shirlc doesn't do another UD today.

Thanks, Sharon, this was sweet of you. We're having guests for dinner today and I'm preparing a big meal. Tomorrow we've been invited to a "seafood boil" (new experience). Your post reminds me that I am capable of keeping my UDs in check by watching portions and avoiding sweets. I really need to do that! Also, we're going on a cruise this month and that is a script for disaster for me. I am grateful for this way of eating as I know from experience that when I get home from vacation, I will go back to my alternate day fasting.

I'm not doing my regular MD/UD weekend since last week it messed me up. Not a happy camper though as I sure like the M/W/F DD routine.

Shirl, One positive way to look at it is that you've been at least maintaining so on that! You do hang in there which is awesome so keep up the good work! Have a great time on your cruise. Jealous here.

At last a little movement of the scale, it's weird because although the scale hasn't moved I can feel that my trousers and underwear are looser so i've been satisfied to know that "things are happening"

My thoughts exactly, FairyWren! Yesterday I put on a pair of slacks I hadn't worn for a few weeks and the bottom of the pant legs were dragging on the floor!

My goal for August is to get into the 140s - ideally i'd like to be 147 or 148 by the end of the month, though how feasible that is I have no idea!

My goal is to continue to maintain within my range of 100-108lbs, allowing for my usual excursions relating to pain management, muscle swelling, fluid shifts etc. Overall my goal is to maintain my body fat level somewhere between 20-25%.
