Emergency Fat Bomb

I need a recipe for a very quick emergency fat bomb. I am still sugar addicted even after reaching my goal 3 years ago. If I'm anxious that's when a serious sugar craving sidelines my good behavior. However I also want to "cave-in" when I'm sad, bored, happy, or feeling fine. Being at work right now I've been fighting the cravings and have no "sugar calming" bombs here. I DO HAVE cream cheese, butter, stevia, instant coffee, Hershey's Dark Chocolate Cocoa powder, peppermint flavoring and some sugar free maple syrup. Can any of you suggest what I could put together with all or any of the mentioned stuff quickly to stop the craziness? Once I blow it I figure the day is lost and eat a bunch of off maintenance junk food. It can't be too big of a production, I'm in the library and kids are in and out all the time . . . at best they'll think I nuts and worst, they'll want some.

And on many occasions it's made me happy too, especially when I didn't want to pull my clothes back on after work and go to the store. Basically I wondered if there was enough ingredients (fat) to do the job. Actually I've never had a genuine "fat bomb", just quick mixed up sour cream or cream cheese and stevia. Thanks.

I'm going to confess. I add regular cool whip to my cream cheese, sour cream and stevia. I mix up a "batch of fluff" every weekend and nibble on it during the week as my reward for making it though the day without a cheat. I just need something cold and sweet after a day of cheese, meat and such.

I recently read a post by someone, somewhere that had posted a recipe for a simple fat bomb, yet too involved to do on my desk today, and she said eating 2 or 3 of these small bombs when a serious sugar craving attacks would stop it pretty quickly. Cool Whip sounds like a very creative addition. Funny how ingenious we can get when we need a fix right now!

School is almost out. I've found that I've developed a craving for a McDonald's ice cream cone or two to eat on my drive home from work. Bad! Bad! Although it's 114 degrees right now. I whipped "our version", sort of, of the fat bomb. Let's hope it works.

I mix 2 tablespoons of cream cheese with 2 tablespoons of almond butter, a tablespoon of coconut oil & a bit of stevia to sweeten it up. I spoon out about 6 small globs on a paper plate & stick it in the freezer for a few minutes to firm up.

It's got a great almond cheesecake flavor to it.

I have a small freezer and paper plates but no parchment paper. We're you able to get them unstuck after freezing?

I love McDonald's ice cream too! I think you will really like the cool whip concoction. Thankfully our McDonalds has one of the infamous "broken" machines!

One of our had a temporary breakdown. In desperation I asked them to just put it in a cup.

I don't have almond butter, would straight butter be ok?

Does this create the equivalent of 1 serving or 1 bomb? In others words . . . can I eat it all?

I forgot to report back the results of the "quickie" bomb I made yesterday afternoon. I ate it about 15 or 20 minutes before I left work and I had seriously been considering an ice cream cone to eat instead. By the time I got on the road I wasn't thinking about ice cream at all. I'm going to try it again today and as often as I can to be sure if it's really working.

I will sub peanut butter for almond butter if I'm out, to make my little frozen cream cheese bites. I've never used straight butter but it might taste like cream cheese frosting if a little vanilla was used.
Carb counts vary depending on the ingredients, but I usually only eat 2 to get me through a bad sugar craving.

The fat bombs worked quite well. No thoughts of ice cream cones on the way home. However, I used salted butter (all I had) that wasn't real great. If I get a chance to make more I won't use butter, I'll use coconut oil. In it's solid form. Would that work OK? Does my jar of coconut oil need to refrigerated? The room where it's kept still gets up to 88 degrees and higher during this hot weather.

I need to make more fat bombs. The recipe calls for 2 TBLS cream cheese, 2 TBLS butter and 1 TBL coconut oil. Could 2 TBLS coconut oil replace the butter? Also I need the information about storing it as in the quote above. Right now I'm waiting for it to soften just enough to measure out.

I'm so glad you're posting about this. I used to think "who can't eat enough fat?" but lately I've been down in the 60% range and I'm eating more protein. I think I could really use this to bump up my fat. I saw some that were like Reece's but I dismissed it as something I wouldn't need. I'm going to look for it again now!

There is a cinnamon one I really like.
I use a little silicone mold that holds about 2 teaspoons of whatever, and it's the perfect size.
I've also been known to drop 1-2 of these in a cup of coffee when I want something different.

equal parts:
melted coconut oil and butter;
mix in cinnamon and sweetener to taste.
The amounts will vary according to your personal taste.

Mix with a whisk and pour into the mold, refrigerate until hardened and then keep in a sealed container in the refrigerator.

Sure, but they'd be pretty big?
I don't know if they'd stick either. Silicone seems to work best.
