Mmmmm, I love Alouette! Good stuff.

Trader Joe's has an awesome cheese selection - fun to try things out - looks like you're having a good time at Aldi's!

It wasn't more than $3 or I wouldn't have bought them I want to say $2.59 but I'm not for certain.

Aldi began delivering today in a few markets, including the Atlanta area. There is a $20 discount code on the weekly ad with the 1st order of $35 or more. The service charge is about $4 but this is a nice deal!

Ok I have a question to my fellow aldi shoppers (sorry for the thread jack)
I was getting liverwurst in the plastic tube there for over a year. I use to love it as a snack with veggies, or i'd just put some on a slice of cheese with some mayo as a quick meal.
I have been to 3 different aldi in my area and none of them had it. I am praying to god that they didn't stop carrying it. Has anyone seen it? I mean to go once and them not have it like heck maybe someone else is liverwurst obsessed like me, but I have been there a couple of times and i'm starting to think id rather them just be sold out then not stocking anymore :'(

I get a plastic tube of Sugardale Braunswager in Walmart that I really like. Only problem is when I buy it, I want to eat the whole thing right away. So I just can't buy things like that. There's no moderation with me.

Liverwurst?

All, what exactly is liverwurst and what does it taste like? I love chicken livers - especially fried and grilled (in a foil pan) with butter and worchestersire (sp) sauce... DELISH! Wondering if I would like liverwurst???

Chris: those alouette cheeses are great for stuffed burger patties

LF: liverwurst is like a mild liver pate flavor. I love it. If you like chicken livers, I'd say you'd like it

liverwurst is less metalic tasting then livers.
its yummy seasonings liver onion fat blended into a paste kind of like the consistency of a little more firm then cream cheese.
I went to aldi on tuesday still no liverwurst. it was funny we were asking a worker about it, and he was like do you eat it or do you feed it to your pets, I was laughing I said no no no I eat it (I believe it has onions so no for the dog) I told him I love it, and my family is lucky if I even share with them. He said he loves it too and its the only thing he keeps in the brake room that no one will touch so its his safe food.. and he loves it too... He said that they should be getting it back soon.. (Hopefully)

I don't find liver to have a metallic taste at all. I love all liver, as long as it's cooked properly and not like shoe leather. LOL
