Hoping for the best

My name is Chrissy, I am 39 years old and as of today, weigh 186.8. I was 190 2 weeks ago when I started low carbing. I wanted to know how many calories I should have daily. I am 5'4". I've always been 150 to 125. I am so upset when I look in the mirror. I will say last January, I got sober from drinking and quit smoking cigs. I really need to loose 60 pounds by July. I am taking in 50 or less net carbs daily averaging around 29. My lowest weight was 184 and I have had no sugar, grains, bread etc. Thanks for reading. CT

If you are low carbing, you have to count your cabs, not calories overall. A calorie is a unit of measurement of the energy needed to raise the temperature of 1 gram of water through 1 °C. This is not the way fat is used in the body, so it does not matter.
