has anyone here had a VAP test?

does it fractionalize triglycerides (into medium chain and long chain) as well as LDLs? Love & Profits: FLATFERENGHI

I had a VAP test several years ago. As far as I know, it simply measures the size of LDL particles--big is better than small.

I have high HDL (85-95) and low trigs (<30), and my particle size was 100% the
large, fluffy kind. My endo told me that he sees that pattern with high HDL but low trigs.

But my cardiologist was unimpressed. I don't have any cardiac issues, but I get an annual check up. He insists that 'higher' LDL is never good, regardless of the size of the particles. But he doesn't bother trying to get me on statins because he know that's not going to happen.
