Felt strong today....so did 82 min on NuStep and my deep water 1 hr w/a class......feel good but a tad tired..

But getting so discouraged...can not lose anymore weight since I started on insulin....like yesterday had my breakfast...then before I fixed my lunch, felt funny so took my B/S and it was 51...way too low..so have to eat something with sugar ....and then the rest of the day felt so angry about it ....I ate too many carbs.....

Just is not fair - I am working so hard on my exercises (and loving that)...but not losing this darn weight....I do believe that I am losing inches...clothes are fitting better...and a woman from one of my classes said - my arms are toning up....

It is just awful when our bodies sabotage us

Looks a lot of you are doing good .....keep it up

I was able to weigh this morning. I'm getting back to "normal." Not bad considering that for the first 4 or 5 days I was eating a lot of carbs. Saltine crackers helped keep my stomach settled. I thought I had gained.
Yay Judy!! KUTGW!

Between the lack of sleep and the holidays, my diet exercise plan was torn to shreds. And bad habits returned. Once more into the breach my friends. Once more into the breach.

Hi everyone, I'm traveling, so I'm on my iPad and can't seem to get the copy/paste to cooperate and pull my daily weight for the month. I'm traveling to Portland today for the conference, so I won't be able to weigh this week, but I am on plan, still in ketosis and will keep checking in.....have a great day!!!

Judy - Welcome back! Glad you are starting to feel better.

Tami - Great job on the inches lost and yes - losing 3 pounds this month is great - especially with all of the weight you have already lost.

Spride - Amazing! You've had the best "off plan" stats I've ever seen. I have no doubt you will be at your 200 lb goal in no time. You are an inspiration to us all.

Seeing some great/quick losses and some frustration here on the thread. This is definitely a marathon with lots of ups and downs on the way. Congrats to all of us for giving it our best shot and especially to those of you who have already lost so much weight and are a great example to all.

I have been trying to tell you guys about doing that for ages. Y'all just don't listen That happening to me. Then I took my measurements and there was the proof. Then that day I put on those size 18 jeans I forgot I bought and had to keep them up with two big safety pins. Your fat cells are shrinking.
Congrats btw!

Well, we went on vacation this past weekend. I couldn’t seem to stay on track with being on vacation. I completely fell off the wagon and it then backed up and ran me over. Started back today. Mad at myself because I finally had gotten into ketosis and was starting to feel so energized and good. Scale is all the way up too. All I can do is refocus. I’m super motivated and prepped all my food for the week. Looking forward to getting back into ketosis and getting all that energy back.

I love seeing everyone’s menu and recipes!

155 1/17/17

Its water folks. Nothing to get excited about. I've been peeing like a race horse. Why do they say that? I'm getting up three times a night. exhausting!

Did I say a little irritable too? sorry. I'll get over this and start having energy and everythings gonna be okay.

kc, funny "and then backed up and ran me over" lol

Heres hoping tomorrow is a good day and I get some sleep tonight!

Been super busy with the Foshan China group! Yesterday we were able to have a day to ourselves when our guests went out with the kids then some other teachers and administrators. I'm seeing the gain from both the Chinese food and just lack of water. Its tough to drink a lot when you are going all over the place. Tomorrow, we are meeting my parents to eat Cajun seafood (Pappadeaux) and then to the Rocket's game (another Foshan China group event.)

I decided NOT to meet with my friends this evening. They were going to meet at a Chinese restaurant. I find it impossible to eat low carb at a Chinese restaurant. There is at least starch in all the sauces and if I ask for it plain then its just yuck. Since I had just had this situation a couple days ago I just felt better skipping.

The hamburger casserole is a low carb dish I made myself and its pretty good. It tastes somewhat Italian and next time I think ricotta cheese would be a good addition. I've prepared the next 3 days of chicken salad with cucumber or zucchini "crackers" for lunch the next three days.

Have a great week everyone!

Nope. Not gonna weigh today. I will tomorrow after a day back on plan. YEP you guessed it. I went off the wagon this weekend. I hate it when that happens. It's a combination of the depressing, dreary, cold wet weather and just, well, January. Winter. Dark. Have I mentioned lately how much I dislike winter?

Okay, enough of my pity party.

Teresa, I'm so happy to see you jump back in. It doesn't matter HOW many times we have to "jump back in". . . It's ALWAYS worth it!

Ugh. Monday.
You will do it Terri. I get into a sort of funk like this sometimes too.

This is really awesome! I think its important for us to take time like this to allow our body to adjust. My goal is 200 lbs then maintain for a time then down another 50 from there. Its a LONG LONG term goal. I hope this will help me keep it off longer.

I started out at 216 two years ago when I decided that I was sick and tired of being sick and tired so I've come a long ways. My journey is a marathon not a sprint. I think someone on here has that saying in their signature and it is very true. I just see others sprinting on here from time to time and while I am very excited and happy for you all I keep wondering what am I doing wrong. Why am I not losing at a faster rate. I fell like I should be dropping at least a half a lb. a day. I have found that the smaller I get the harder it is to lose. I am having to adjust my WOE to my newer more improved body size. I am just having to figure it out as I go.
On another note. We had a 3 day weekend so I didn't treadmill at all. I got back into it this morning and did my interval run and it is getting easier.

Yeah, feel a little better today. If I count my calories like I'm supposed to, and cut down the coffee, I do well.

Good morning everyone! Hope everyone has a great day!

I have lost 2.5 inches and 3.6 lbs. since I started back earlier this month. I am proud of that and seeing that gives me a bit more motivation to keep going. I know this works.

It's been so rainy and too warm to snow here ... and it sucks. It's winter - I'd rather have snow.
You can have our snow I'm so sick of snow at this point and ice.

2017 goal-5 pounds a month, end of Dec. 60 lbs down. I can do this!

1/3 - 244.2
1/4 - 243
1/5 - 241.2
1/6 - 240
1/7 - 239.6
1/8 - DNW
1/9 - 239.8

1/14 - 242.2
1/15 - 240.2
1/16 -239.4
1/17 - 239 Egg Fast Day 4
1/18 - 237.6 Today is Egg Fast Day 5

I thought I got on yesterday and it appears I did not. Today is probably my last day of the egg fast, I will probably slowly switch back tomorrow as Friday is my son's birthday and even though he has moved out and still wants mom to bake him a cake and meal. He'll be 20, did I say he's my baby so of course I can't say no. So I think it will be better for me to start the change tomorrow then on Friday. I am happy with the results though.

Too all you new and returning people ! It's great seeing so many new people and returning, the more the merrier right.

So many of you are doing an awesome job, it's fantastically wonderful!
