Oops...I gained 2lbs. Not surprising as I drifted off plan in August, especially the last two weeks, but ok with that as I thought it might be higher! My average daily carbs for August were 89 compared to 40 in July and 25 several months back. I think the carb drift has been more due to laziness and boredom than cravings, holidays too. Planning to be much stricter in September.

Hey Puppy, I lost 20 pounds in August Smashing through my set Goal and ending up this Morning at 150. Almost half of that was due to the Surgery but it has stayed off so far. As soon as I feel a bit better I'm headed to that High Faulting Day Spa down the road for a Big Ole ME Day!!!

I lost 4.5 lbs in August! And I'm now at my goal weight!!! I might drop a pound or two more for insurance, but after a very long plateau, I made it over (it required some exercise, but nothing really bad, just some 30 minutes of cardio and swimming a few times a week -- and I don't want to think about how many egg fasts I did, but boy, I sure do love eggs).

Avocado, I absolutely see 2 lb swings all the time. Don't worry about it. It's water weight. I weigh myself every day and see it goes up, down, up, down, all the time. My husband says he shifts about 5 lbs. a day.

Thanks Puppy. Trying to get back on that wagon! Have done pretty by not sliding into bread or chips etc, but having a few extra portions of dark chocolate than I normally allow myself, and loads of strawberries. My weight has been rock solid the last three weeks, which amazes me as I had a few high carbs days. I keep telling myself it's some kind of karma from all those days when I was super super strict and the weight didn't fall.

Avocado, I try to keep my net carbs under 20 a day. Most of my meals are meats, eggs, dairy and veggies. However, I also occasionally indulge in a sugar free treat or Joseph's pita. I also have the occasional glass of Cabernet, but still keep my net carbs under 20. Sadly, I get bored quickly and have to mix things up sometimes.
